Stephen C. Meyer received his Ph.D. in the philosophy of science from the University of Cambridge. A former geophysicist and college professor, he now directs Discovery Institute’s Center for Science and Culture in Seattle. He has authored the New York Times best seller Darwin’s Doubt: The Explosive Origin of Animal Life and the Case for Intelligent Design (HarperOne, 2013), Signature in the Cell: DNA and the Evidence for Intelligent Design (HarperOne, 2009), which was named a Book of the Year by the Times (of London) Literary Supplement in 2009, and now, The Return of the God Hypothesis (HarperOne, 2021).

In his first book on intelligent design, Signature in the Cell: DNA and the Evidence for Intelligent Design (HarperOne, 2009) Meyer examined the mystery of the origin of the first life. With Darwin’s Doubt, he has expanded the scope of the case for intelligent design to the whole sweep of life’s history. Meyer’s research addresses the deepest mystery surrounding the origin of life and the origin of animal life: the origin of biological information necessary to produce it.

Meyer graduated from Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington, in 1981 with a degree in physics and earth science. He later became a geophysicist with Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO) in Dallas, Texas. From 1981 to 1985, he worked for ARCO in digital signal processing and seismic survey interpretation. In 1986 as a Rotary International Scholar, he began his training in the history and philosophy of science at Cambridge University, earning an M.Phil. in 1987 and a Ph.D. in 1991. His doctoral thesis was titled “Of Clues and Causes: A Methodological Interpretation of Origin-of-Life Research.”
​
He returned to Whitworth in the fall of 1990 to teach philosophy and the philosophy of science. He left a tenured position as a professor at Whitworth in 2002 to direct the Center for Science and Culture full time, which he had helped found with John West in 1996.
​
Prior to the publication of Signature in the Cell and Darwin’s Doubt, the writing for which Meyer was best known was an August 2004 review essay in the Smithsonian Institution-affiliated peer-reviewed biology journal Proceedings of the Biological Society of Washington. The article laid out the evidential case for intelligent design, presenting it as the best explanation for the origin of the biological information necessary to produce the new forms of animal life that arose abruptly during the Cambrian explosion.
​
Because the article was the first peer-reviewed publication arguing for intelligent design in a technical journal, it proved extremely controversial. The journal’s editor, evolutionary biologist Richard Sternberg, was punished by his Smithsonian supervisors for allowing Meyer’s article into print. This led to the investigation of top Smithsonian personnel by the U.S. Office of Special Counsel. The controversy was widely covered in the media with articles or news stories appearing about it in The Wall Street Journal, Science, Nature, NPR, The O’Reilly Factor and the Washington Post. The federal investigation eventually concluded that Sternberg had been wrongly disciplined and intimidated.
​
Meyer’s many other publications include contributions to, and the editing of, the peer-reviewed volume Darwinism, Design and Public Education (Michigan State University Press, 2004) and the innovative textbook Explore Evolution (Hill House Publishers, 2007).
​
Meyer has also published editorials in national newspapers such as The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The National Post (of Canada), The Daily Telegraph (of London) and The Los Angeles Times. He has appeared on national television and radio programs such as The Jim Lehrer News Hour, NBC Nightly News, ABC Nightly News, CBS Sunday Morning, Nightline, Fox News Live, Paula Zahn Now (CNN), Good Morning America and the Tavis Smiley Show on PBS. He has also been featured in two New York Times front-page stories and has garnered attention in other top national media.

In 2008, he appeared with Ben Stein in the theatrical-released documentary Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed. He has also been featured prominently in the science documentaries Icons of Evolution, The Case for a Creator, Darwin’s Dilemma and Unlocking The Mystery of Life, the latter which was shown on PBS and which Meyer co-wrote with producer Lad Allen.
What Is Intelligent Design?

Chances are if you’ve heard anything about intelligent design, you’ve heard that it’s a “faith-based,” not a “science-based” idea. Or maybe you’ve even heard it’s “religion masquerading as science.”
​
Is that true?
​
Well, why don’t you decide?
​
According to evolutionary biologists such as Richard Dawkins of Oxford University, living systems “give the appearance of having been designed for a purpose.” But that appearance is merely an illusion.
​
Why?
​
Well, according to Dawkins and his followers, undirected processes such as natural selection and random mutations can produce the intricate design-like structures in living systems. In their view, natural selection can mimic the powers of a designing intelligence without being guided or directed in any way.
​
In contrast, the proponents of intelligent design argue there are tell-tale features of living systems and the universe that are best explained by a designing intelligence.
​
So what tell-tale signs of intelligence are we talking about?
​
There are many. But let’s focus here on just one — the digital code stored in the DNA molecule.
​
In 1953 James Watson and Francis Crick mapped out the structure of the DNA molecule. Along the interior of their famed double helix, they discovered a four-character code at work.
​
They soon realized that sequences of precisely positioned chemicals called “nucleotide bases” store and transmit the assembly instructions — the information — for building the crucial protein molecules that cells need to survive. No protein molecules, no life.
Crick later proposed that the chemical constituents in DNA function like letters in a written language or digital symbols in a computer code.
​
Just as a well-functioning computer code depends upon precise sequences of zeros and ones, so too does the function of the DNA molecule depend upon the specific arrangement of chemical bases along the spine of the double helix.
Famed biotech specialist Leroy Hood describes the information stored in DNA as “digital code.” Even Richard Dawkins has acknowledged, “the machine code of the genes is uncannily computer-like.”
But where did this information, this digital code, come from? Today this question lies at the heart of a great scientific mystery: the mystery of the origin of life.
​
Building a living cell requires many proteins. And building proteins requires genetic information in DNA or some other equivalent molecule.
​
Yet to date no theory of undirected chemical evolution can explain the origin of the digital information needed to build the first living cell from simpler non-living chemicals — in other words, the problem of getting life from non-life.
​
Why is this a problem? There is simply too much information in the cell to be explained by chance alone. The probability of generating a section of DNA code capable of building just one functional protein by chance is vanishingly small, even taking into account the multi-billion-year history of the universe. And even the simplest living cells require hundreds of proteins.
​
Thus, the “given enough time anything is possible” argument no longer works. Origin of life researchers agree: the chance hypothesis has failed.
​
Chemistry doesn’t help us, either. Unlike basic chemical compounds, like a crystal of salt, the chemical letters in the DNA message do not arrange themselves as a result of mutual attraction.
​
Saying otherwise would be like saying that the message in a newspaper headline could spontaneously emerge because of the way that ink sticks to paper. Clearly “something else” is at work. In this case, a newspaper editor.
​
Yet, proponents of intelligent design do not argue for the theory because all these other theories — chance, chemical laws or some combination — have failed. Instead, they argue for intelligent design because our uniform and repeated experience — the basis of all scientific reasoning — shows that systems with digital information invariably arise from intelligence.
​
DNA functions like a software program. We know from experience that software comes from programmers. We know that information — whether inscribed in hieroglyphics, written in a book or encoded in a radio signal — always arises from an intelligent source.
So, the discovery of information at the foundation of life in even the simplest living cells provides strong grounds for inferring that a designing intelligence played a role in the origin of life.
​
So, contrary to what you might have heard, intelligent design is not based on religion but on scientific discoveries. It is also based upon the same method of scientific reasoning that Charles Darwin used — a method that relies on our uniform experience of cause and effect to guide our theories about what happened in the past.
​
You may still wish to dismiss the theory of intelligent design — you’re free to believe whatever you like — but you’ll have a hard time doing so based on “The Science.”

Can you believe in God and science at the same time?
​
So-called “New Atheists” like Richard Dawkins and scientific materialists like Neil deGrasse Tyson certainly don’t think so. To them, religion gets in the way of science. In their view, more science leads to less God.
​
This is not a new position. It was first expressed over a hundred years ago by English physician John Draper in a book titled, A History of the Conflict Between Religion and Science.
​
Draper, who was deeply influenced by Darwin’s then-new theory of evolution, regarded organized religion as a direct and existential threat to the advancement of science. As he put it “ … [Religion] and Science are … absolutely incompatible; they cannot exist together…mankind must make its choice—it cannot have both.”
​
So, are science and religion inevitably in conflict? Have they always been? Well, not exactly. In fact, the giants who established modern science — astronomer Johannes Kepler, chemist Robert Boyle, physicist Sir Isaac Newton and others—were deeply religious men. They didn’t see any conflict between science and religion. On the contrary: they thought that by doing science, they were discovering God’s design and revealing it to mankind. Indeed, it’s no exaggeration to say that the Judeo/Christian religious tradition led directly to modern science.
​
To back up this claim, Cambridge University historian of science Joseph Needham posed a famous “Why there? Why then?” question. Why there — in Europe. Why then — in the 16th and 17th centuries. Why didn’t modern science start somewhere else before then? After all, the Egyptians erected pyramids.
​
The Chinese invented the compass, block-printing, and gunpowder.
​
Romans built marvelous roads and aqueducts. The Greeks had great philosophers. Yet none of these cultures developed the systematic methods for investigating nature that arose in Western Europe during the 16th and 17th centuries. This realization led Needham and other historians of science such as Ian Barbour and Herbert Butterfield to look for some other “X factor” to explain why “the scientific revolution” occurred where and when it did.
​
Here is the conclusion they reached: Only the Judeo-Christian West had the necessary “intellectual presuppositions” to enable “the rise of science.” So, what were those presuppositions? We can identify three. All find their origin in the Judeo-Christian idea of a Creator God who fashioned an ordered universe.
​
First, the founders of modern science assumed the intelligibility of nature — that nature had been designed by the mind of a rational God, the same God who also made the rational minds of human beings. Thus, these men assumed that if they used their minds to carefully study nature, they could understand the order and design that God had placed in the world. Second, they assumed an underlying order in nature.
​
This was best expressed by philosopher Alfred North Whitehead who argued, “There can be no living science unless there is a widespread instinctive conviction in the . . . Order of Nature” — a conviction he attributed to belief in “the rationality of God.” This idea led to the unprecedented use of mathematics to describe the orderly processes at work in the world, and inspired the invention of better instruments, such as telescopes and microscopes, to see that order. And third, these founders of modern science presupposed the contingency of nature. This simply means that God had many choices about how to make an orderly world. Just as there are many ways to design a clock, there were many ways that God could have designed the universe. To discover how He did, scientists could not merely deduce the order of nature by assuming what seemed most logical to them; that is, merely using reason alone to draw conclusions, as the Greek philosophers had tried to do.
How Did the Universe Begin?
Was the universe always here? Or did it have a beginning? If so, how did it start?
​
From ancient times, philosophers and theologians have debated these questions.
​
But it wasn’t until the 20th century that a series of stunning scientific discoveries finally enabled us to get some answers.
The story begins in 1912 when American astronomer Vesto Slipher observed that light coming from distant “nebulae” (clouds of dust and gas in outer space) appeared redder than expected.
​
Why was this important?
​
Here’s where your high school science pays off. Remember learning about the Doppler effect? The frequency of sound, light, or other waves changes as the source and observer move toward (or away from) each other. To demonstrate this, your science teacher likely played a recording of a train whistle: the pitch of the whistle lowers — that is, the sound wave stretches out — as the train recedes into the distance.
​
Well, the same thing happens with light.
​
If a distant star or galaxy is moving away from us, the light coming from that object will also stretch out. Since in the spectrum of visible light, red light corresponds to the longest wave lengths physicists say light that has been stretched out has been “red shifted.”
This evidence of “red-shift” suggested the nebulae were moving away from us.
​
In 1924 astronomer Edwin Hubble, working with a new 100-inch telescope on Mt. Wilson in California, showed that Slipher’s “nebulae” were not just clouds of gas around distant stars, but actually distant galaxies beyond our Milky Way.
​
Soon after that, the Belgian physicist George Lemaître correlated Slipher’s red-shift data with Hubble’s measurements of the distances to other galaxies. Lemaître showed that galaxies that were farther away were receding faster than those close at hand. That suggested a spherical expansion of the universe in all directions of space, as if the universe were expanding like a balloon from a singular explosive beginning — from a “big bang.”
​
Oddly, Albert Einstein had earlier tumbled to this idea but then dismissed it.
​
Einstein’s new theory of gravity known as general relativity envisioned massive bodies altering the curvature of space like a bowling ball making a depression on a trampoline.
​
Einstein’s concept of gravity implied that space would contract in on itself unless gravity was continually counteracted by the expansion of space. For this reason, Einstein posited a constantly acting repulsive force — known as the cosmological constant — to counter gravitational attraction. But that implied a dynamic and expanding universe … and also a beginning.
​
To avoid this conclusion, Einstein altered his own equations by arbitrarily assigning a precise value to the force of expansion to ensure that the strength of gravity and the repulsive force exactly balanced. Thus he depicted the universe in a perfectly poised, static state—neither expanding from a beginning, nor contracting toward a collapse.
​
But then with Slipher and Hubble’s discoveries, the heavens talked back. In 1927, Lemaître informed Einstein (in a taxi cab, no less) about the red shift evidence for an expanding universe. In 1931, Einstein visited Hubble at the Mt. Wilson observatory and viewed the evidence for himself. Later, he announced, to his great credit, that denying the evidence for the universe having had a beginning was “the greatest blunder of my scientific career.”
​
Throughout the 20th century, physicists proposed other theories that denied a cosmic beginning. One by one new evidence showed each to be inadequate. By the 1990s, the Big Bang theory had prevailed as the best explanation for multiple lines of astronomical evidence.
​
So why was such evidence upsetting to Einstein and to many other scientists? Princeton University physicist Robert Dicke, explained: “[an infinitely old universe would] relieve us of the necessity of [explaining] the origin of matter at any finite time in the past.”
And so it would.
​
But if the physical universe of matter, energy, space and time had a beginning, it becomes extremely difficult to conceive of a physical or material cause for the origin of the universe. After all, it was matter and energy that first came into existence at the Big Bang. Before that, no matter or energy would have yet existed to do the causing. Consequently, whatever did cause the universe to exist would need to be immaterial and exist beyond space and time.
​
To many scientists and philosophers all this sounds an awful lot like the first words of the Bible: “In the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth.”

In a lecture, Phillip Johnson cited physicist Richard Feynman on a scientist’s obligation to be honest — not only with himself or in other scientific contexts but, not one bit less, when speaking to the lay public. “You should not fool the laymen when you’re talking as a scientist.” That such a thing would need to be said is itself revealing. What’s more, Feynman insisted, you should “bend over backwards to show how you may be wrong.”
​
The comments are taken from a Commencement address by Feynman in 1974 at Caltech. Johnson, a founding father of modern intelligent design, was so moved by this that he said “I wish it could be set to music.”
​
As far as I know it hasn’t been set to music. But the idea is a major theme in the new Science Uprising series. Scientists fool themselves and they fool non-scientists, not about dry technical details with no special significance, but about matters that bear on huge, life-altering world picture issues. One example is the role of mutations in evolution. That is the topic of Episode 6 of Science Uprising, “Mutations: Failure to Invent.”

The idea that random genetic mutations lead to wondrous, creative innovations is so influential that it forms the premise of a movie franchise, X-Men, that has grossed $6 billion worldwide over the past couple of decades. That’s a lot of “fooling the laymen”!
The alternative perspective would be open to the possibility of creative evolution requiring intelligence guidance. The producers of the X-Men movies aren’t scientists. However, the science media have done their best to mislead about the work of real scientists, including National Academy of Sciences member Richard Lenski. We’re all victims of that hype, including Hollywood moviemakers. Dismantling the hype about Lenski occupies biochemist Michael Behe for a significant part of his recent book, Darwin Devolves.
Super-Challenges Not Super-Powers

As Professor Behe explains in Science Uprising, the Long-Term Evolution Experiment conducted by Lenski has demonstrated not the creative power of unguided evolution but the occasional benefits of devolution, of breaking or disabling genes. That’s the opposite lesson from the one drawn by media such as the New York Times in reporting on Lenski’s efforts. “Think about it,” says the masked narrator of Science Uprising, “significant mutations don’t create superpowers. They create super-challenges. Sometimes those mutations are even life-threatening.”

So, what does it mean when the Commission declared that these genders must be recognized? You had better put on your seat belt!
The Commission declared that a refusal to use a person’s preferred name, pronoun or title can constitute “gender–based harassment” and can result in a fine up to $250,000. That means that a man who wants to be called miss or she has a right to demand the use of those terms by his employer, fellow employees, landlord or fellow tenants.
​
And that is only the tip of the iceberg. Other gender titles that can be demanded include ze, hir, sie, ey, ve, tey, fae, and xe — oh, and also, glugga. (I’m not kidding, although I wish I were.)
​
Talk about a gross violation of our Constitutional right of free speech! This is depravity gone to seed coupled with government dictatorship.
​
This insanity is already spreading across our nation. Consider what happened recently in the Gresham–Barlow School District, located just outside of Portland, Oregon. A female elementary school teacher decided that she identified as neither male nor female. She claimed to be “genderqueer” or “transmasculine.” She changed her name to Leo and asked to be referred to as “they.” When her fellow teachers continued to refer to her as a woman and refused to call her, “they,” she filed a genderharassment complaint with the school district.
​
Incredibly, the District officials came to a settlement with “they” in which the district agreed to pay her/him/they — whatever — $60,000 for “emotional distress.” They also agreed to provide gender–neutral restrooms. And to top it off, they ordered all of her (sorry!) fellow teachers to call her, “they,” under the threat of discipline or dismissal.
​
Franklin Graham called their settlement “incredible.” He added, “Doesn’t a person’s DNA or birth certificate count for anything? Shouldn’t fact override fantasy?”
​
Graham’s observation gets to the bottom line. Any man who thinks he is a woman or any woman who thinks she is a man or any person who thinks he/she is both male and female is delusional and mentally ill. They are equivalent to a woman who announces that she is Joan of Arc, or a man who claims to be Napoleon.
​
Such persons need spiritual and mental help. They do not need to be encouraged in their delusion, nor should the government be forcing normal people to recognize and accept their delusion. And they certainly should not be allowed to be teachers in our public schools.
​
Romans chapter one says that the final stage in God’s destruction of a nation occurs when He delivers the society over to a depraved mind. America has arrived.
​
And the rest of the world is not far behind. In fact, most of Europe is far ahead of us in its depravity. Facebook in England now provides for 71 gender identities.

Back to School: Transgender Indoctrination of our Children

This topic has been weighing so heavily on me. I have been gathering information for weeks. I have been praying that the Lord would show me the most important information for parents of school-age children, and that the parents would take this seriously.
When my children were in school (1990’s), I was up at the school very often. The teachers and school administrators did not care for me at all. They considered me a fringe element of the Christian community. I didn’t care what they thought. I fought for my children.

I’ve written in various articles how the Lord helped me to effect change. It was a bit scary at first, but the Lord gave me strength and courage to stand up to the establishment in our schools. Other Christian parents in the neighborhood would call me and ask me if I would go to the school about other issues.
​
I told them that it would be much more effective if they would go to the schools themselves. Then the administrators would see that it wasn’t just me. They didn’t go; and obviously through the years, parents have been detached from their children’s schools. And the rest is, as they say, history.

Indoctrination to make transgenderism “normal”

This article is going to have a lot of information about how your children are being indoctrinated to believe that transgenderism is normal, and that people who are against it are bigots and need to be punished. I will be placing videos in this piece.

Johns Hopkins Psychiatrist: Transgender is a Mental Disorder and Sex Change Biologically Impossible

Dr. Paul R. McHugh, the former psychiatrist-in-chief for Johns Hopkins Hospital and its current Distinguished Service Professor of Psychiatry, said that transgenderism is a “mental disorder” that merits treatment, that sex change is “biologically impossible,” and that people who promote sexual reassignment surgery are collaborating with and promoting a mental disorder.
​
Dr. McHugh, the author of six books and at least 125 peer-reviewed medical articles, made his remarks in a recent commentary in the Wall Street Journal, where he explained that transgender surgery is not the solution for people who suffer a “disorder of ‘assumption’” – the notion that their maleness or femaleness is different than what nature assigned to them biologically.
​
He also reported on a new study showing that the suicide rate among transgendered people who had reassignment surgery is 20 times higher than the suicide rate among non-transgender people. Dr. McHugh further noted studies from Vanderbilt University and London’s Portman Clinic of children who had expressed transgender feelings but for whom, over time, 70%-80% “spontaneously lost those feelings.”
​
While the Obama administration, Hollywood, and major media such as Time magazine promote transgenderism as normal, said Dr. McHugh, these “policy makers and the media are doing no favors either to the public or the transgendered by treating their confusions as a right in need of defending rather than as a mental disorder that deserves understanding, treatment and prevention.”
​
These people are 20 times more likely to attempt suicide! And 70 – 80% of children who expressed transgender feelings “spontaneously lost those feelings.” For our government and the media to be pushing this “mental disorder” is wrong on so many levels!
​
“This intensely felt sense of being transgendered constitutes a mental disorder in two respects. The first is that the idea of sex misalignment is simply mistaken – it does not correspond with physical reality. The second is that it can lead to grim psychological outcomes.”
​
The transgendered person’s disorder, said Dr. McHugh, is in the person’s “assumption” that they are different than the physical reality of their body, their maleness or femaleness, as assigned by nature. It is a disorder similar to a “dangerously thin” person suffering anorexia who looks in the mirror and thinks they are “overweight,” said McHugh.
​
The pro-transgender advocates do not want to know, said McHugh, that studies show between 70% and 80% of children who express transgender feelings “spontaneously lose those feelings” over time. Also, for those who had sexual reassignment surgery, most said they were “satisfied” with the operation “but their subsequent psycho-social adjustments were no better than those who didn’t have the surgery.”
​
“And so at Hopkins we stopped doing sex-reassignment surgery, since producing a ‘satisfied’ but still troubled patient seemed an inadequate reason for surgically amputating normal organs,” said Dr. McHugh.
​
The former Johns Hopkins chief of psychiatry also warned against enabling or encouraging certain subgroups of the transgendered, such as young people “susceptible to suggestion from ‘everything is normal’ sex education,” and the schools’ “diversity counselors” who, like “cult leaders,” may “encourage these young people to distance themselves from their families and offer advice on rebutting arguments against having transgender surgery.”
​
Dr. McHugh also reported that there are “misguided doctors” who, working with very young children who seem to imitate the opposite sex, will administer “puberty-delaying hormones to render later sex-change surgeries less onerous – even though the drugs stunt the children’s growth and risk causing sterility.”
​
Such action comes “close to child abuse,” said Dr. McHugh, given that close to 80% of those kids will “abandon their confusion and grow naturally into adult life if untreated….”
​
“’Sex change’ is biologically impossible,” said McHugh. “People who undergo sex-reassignment surgery do not change from men to women or vice versa. Rather, they become feminized men or masculinized women. Claiming that this is a civil-rights matter and encouraging surgical intervention is in reality to collaborate with and promote a mental disorder.”– source

A writer, Geri Ungurean, has pulled together a powerful article with accompanying videos on the transgender agenda in our government schools. The Human Rights Campaign, reputedly the strongest LGBTQ organization in the U.S., is working aggressively to normalize homosexuality and transgenderism, not only in our society in general and in the schools, but also in our churches. The time has arrived for us to be clear about where we stand on these issues.
My prayer is that we could unitedly stand on the Word of God. Without question, we affirm God’s love and our love for all people, regardless of their lifestyle and lifestyle choices, but we cannot affirm or condone lifestyles that militate against God’s revealed Word and will. To say that God affirms transgenderism or homosexuality is blasphemous.

Years ago, I wrote an article about a strange rock formation called the Georgia Guide Stones. Upon those rocks are engraved the globalists’ “ten commandments.” I actually referred to these commandments as belonging to Antichrist.

I want the reader to understand that laws like the one we saw passed in NY just days ago which allows doctors to abort unborn children right up to the day of delivery – and now a bill in Congress from Pelosi and the Dems which will classify children with so-called “Gender Dysphoria” as a group in need of protection – have one main goal in common: DEPOPULATION.

That protection will manifest in the removal of these children from homes in which the parents do not wish to enable their children to become transgenders.
​
I originally wrote an article on the Georgia Guide Stones back in 2015. I will place excerpts from that piece in this article, but I will expand on what I believe is happening throughout the world today and how it is directly linked to the strange rock formation called the Georgia Guide Stones.

In 1980, a very strange stone formation was erected in a city in Georgia. It has been called the Stonehenge of America. Its name is the Georgia Guide Stones.

“The Georgia Guide Stones is a granite monument erected in 1980 in Elbert County, Georgia, in the United States. A set of ten guidelines is inscribed on the structure in eight modern languages, and a shorter message is inscribed at the top of the structure in four ancient language scripts: Babylonian, Classical Greek, Sanskrit, and Egyptian hieroglyphs.

The monument stands at the highest point in Elbert County, about 90 miles (140 km) east of Atlanta, 45 miles (72 km) from Athens, and 9 miles (14 km) north of the center of Elberton. This clearly states that the population on the earth should be maintained at 500 million people to be in “perpetual balance with nature.” Can they get any more into New Age terminology than that?

I checked the number of people as of 2018 who inhabit the earth. 7.6 BILLION people live on the earth at this time.
Shall we do the math? Well, to put it in its simplest form – the NWO must rid our planet of almost 94% of all people to bring the population to its goal of under 500 million.
​
One must ponder as to how to reduce the number of people on the earth by 94%. Bill Gates is doing his part by sending vaccines to third world countries which sterilizes young women. India got wise to this madman and analyzed the vaccines after many of their young women fell ill, while many others died.
​
India has a lawsuit against the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, but I seriously doubt whether this will ever be brought to trial.

Americans have long understood that children are best cared for by their parents. The state can only intervene in the family when there is demonstrable evidence of abuse and neglect.
​
This has long been established in our laws. But now, transgender ideology is silencing doctors and challenging the way courts define parental abuse and neglect.
​
Last year in Ohio, a judge removed a biological girl from her parents’ custody after they declined to help her “transition” to male with testosterone supplements. The Cincinnati Children’s gender clinic recommended these treatments for gender dysphoria (the condition of being distressed with one’s biological sex).
​
When her parents wanted to treat her with counseling instead, the county prosecutor charged them with abuse and neglect, while transgender activists and pro-trans doctors compared their decision to denying treatment for asthma or even cancer patients.
That all happened without federal legislation.
​
But now, one of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s top legislative priorities, the Equality Act, could give the transgender community a vice grip over the medical profession. It could open the floodgates for lawsuits against doctors who don’t fall in line with transgender ideology.
​
Politicizing the medical treatment of gender dysphoria could lead to more prosecutions against parents who refuse to aid in the sterilization of their children. As more doctors recommend that children take puberty blockers at age 11, cross-sex hormones at 16, and undergo “sex-reassignment” surgeries at 18, parents who resist could face charges of child abuse and lose custody of their children.
The tragedy in Ohio could be repeated in families across America.

Turning the Law Into a Sword Against Doctors

The transgender movement wants to dominate the field of medicine, and to do so it is threatening doctors and hospitals with penalties.
Some states have already passed laws similar to Pelosi’s Equality Act. In New Jersey and California, transgender activists have sued Catholic hospitals for “discrimination” on the basis of gender identity because they wouldn’t perform sex-change surgeries for patients with gender dysphoria.
​
These lawsuits may seem preposterous, but they were enabled by state anti-discrimination laws that treat sexual orientation and gender identity as protected classes and health care facilities as public accommodations. The text of the Equality Act that was introduced in the 115th Congress does the same.

Pelosi’s bill would add sexual orientation and gender identity to the 1964 Civil Rights Act, making hospitals and doctors across America vulnerable to costly litigation if they don’t follow the medical recommendations of the transgender movement. It would turn anti-discrimination law—which was meant to protect disenfranchised minority groups—into a coercive sword to threaten doctors into submission to transgender ideology.

Does Transgender Ideology Make for Good Medicine?

Part of the reason some doctors resist transgender ideology is that it is incompatible with good medicine and would harm rather than help their patients.
​
The American Psychological Association’s manual of mental disorders classifies gender dysphoria as a mental illness. Research shows that 75 to 95 percent of children with gender dysphoria who go through puberty without any transgender treatments actually become comfortable with their bodies.
​
But the transgender movement ignores these statistics, aggressively pushing for gender-dysphoric children to be treated with non-FDA-approved uses of drugs, even though side effects can include loss of bone density, decline of cognitive ability, and infertility.
​
Dr. Michelle Cretella, executive director of the American College of Pediatricians, describes it as “institutionalized child abuse.”
​
Transgender activists have already tried to silence doctors who warned patients about these dangers. The Human Rights Campaign—a leading LGBT group—devotes an entire website to trying to discredit Dr. Paul McHugh, the former lead psychiatrist at Johns Hopkins University Hospital who put a stop to the hospital’s sex-reassignment surgeries. McHugh says the surgeries were “fundamentally cooperating with a mental illness.”

Trans Activists Are Putting Children and Doctors in the Driver’s Seat

Transgender activists and pro-trans physicians often seek to exclude parents from the process of medical decision-making. Cincinnati Children’s Hospital’s Transgender Health Clinic says parents may be excluded from interviews because they might make their children feel uncomfortable asking questions.
​
Remarkably, this clinic has deemed 100 percent of the patients seeking care to be “appropriate candidates for continued gender treatment.” Even the Ohio judge who terminated one couple’s parental rights expressed “concern” at this astoundingly high approval rate.
​
Transgender advocates dismiss these concerns by sounding an alarm that gender-dysphoric children will be at higher risk of suicide if they don’t receive hormone treatment.
​
But the evidence suggests transgender treatments can actually increase the likelihood of suicide. A study in Sweden on adults who underwent sex-reassignment surgeries showed they were 19 times more likely than the general population to commit suicide after undergoing operations. This is particularly noteworthy because, in Sweden, cultural support for those who identify as transgender is very strong, so social stigma is less likely to account for the suicides.

We should be particularly cautious with experimental treatments on children because the long-term effects of transgender treatments have yet to be seen. Even the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid under the Obama administration pointed out that “mortality from this patient population did not become apparent until after 10 years.”
​
Endocrinologist Dr. Michael Laidlaw also warns that the long-term harms to kids may not show up until years later when, as young adults, they start asking: “How come I can’t have children at this point?’ Well, it’s because their fertility was destroyed by some combination of puberty blockers, wrong sex hormones, and surgery.’”
​
And Dr. Stephen B. Levine, professor of psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, asks the pertinent question: Are children really capable of comprehending the way that hormone treatments will alter their lives and render them unable to have their own children? There’s a reason we have informed consent laws—to protect people, like children, from being taken advantage of.
Expediting a Bad Trend

In this cultural and political climate, doctors and courts are more and more likely to seek to exclude parents from life-changing decisions about their children.

America has seen an explosion of “gender clinics” and diagnoses of “gender dysphoria” in just the past few years. In 2013, America had only three gender clinics. Today, there are more than 41. These clinics report 400 percent increases in children and teens identifying as trans.
​
The Equality Act would expedite this trend by giving the transgender movement a powerful legal weapon to drive medical consensus that could undermine the rights of parents.
​
As more parents wrestle with finding the most loving and helpful solutions for their children struggling with gender dysphoria, the government must support them—not undermine them. Parents must remain central to the decision-making process when it comes to the medical care of children suffering from gender dysphoria. source

The percentage of transgenders who attempt suicide is incredibly high. I’ve been told by a liberal that this suicide rate is linked to the negative reactions of peers and family. Heritage addressed that with these facts:

We must pray for the helpless children who are being indoctrinated by Leftist liberal parents. These people are placing the idea in their children’s minds about transgenderism. And public schools are helping that indoctrination along by teaching children that it’s okay and healthy to feel that they may have been born as the wrong sex.

Clearly, children are not equipped to make decisions about this disastrous attempt to change their sex!

But if Pelosi and her demonic peers get their way, parents will begin to lose their children to the State.
