Prophecies Happening NOW
DAYS OF NOAH AND LOT

Luke 17:26-37 – The Coming of the Kingdom

Lk 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

Matthew 24:36-39 – No One Knows the Day or Hour

Mt 24:36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

2 Peter 2:4-11 – Doom of False Teachers

2Pe 2:4 For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; 5 and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; 6 and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; 7 and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked 8 (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)9 then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, 10 and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, 11 whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord.

How Much Longer, Lord?

Because the world is given over to this grand deception and currently lies under a veil of blindness, it (the world) is unable to accept the reality that our day is almost identical to the conditions of Noah and Lot’s day. Think about it this way: if God and the Bible are true, (they are), then why else is it so hard for people to accept Creationism as our point of origin? Instead they believe in preposterous and completely unprovable theories like Darwinian Evolution or “the Big Bang.” The truth is that if the world acknowledged biblical creation, then they would also have to acknowledge Noah and Lot’s day.

Imagine for a moment, that we lived in a world where there was no spiritual blindness, and all the government and academic institutions actively sought to understand what the world was like before the Noahic flood. How much could we know? A lot more than we do now! Then we would come to understand that the conditions today (population, technology, intelligence, spirituality, etc.) are almost identical to what it was then.

Yet, the world we currently live in mocks and scoffs at the idea of biblical creation. They mock and scoff at the idea of a global flood. They mock and scoff at the idea of a place like Sodom and Gomorrah being destroyed for sexual perversity. The world is given over to an intentional, demonic spiritual blindness that refuses to accept the truth. Because of this, like righteous Lot, we too are oppressed and tormented by the unrighteousness that currently surrounds us.

2Pe 2:7 and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the filthy lives of lawless men 8 (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)— 9 if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue godly men from trials and to hold the unrighteous for the day of judgment, while continuing their punishment.

Not only is this world today full of violence and sexual immorality, including homosexuality. These evils have now been turned into ENTERTAINMENT!! This world is now ENTERTAINED by the very things that God DESTROYED the old world and Sodom for in Noah's and Lot's day!

 THE DAYS OF NOAH

What was it like in the days of Noah?

The biblical account of Noah begins in Genesis 6. Approximately 1,600 years had passed since the creation of Adam and Eve (Genesis 1:26–27). As the earth’s population exploded in number, it also exploded with evil. Long forgotten was the righteous sacrifice of Abel (Genesis 4:4) as “the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually” (Genesis 6:5). Verses 11 and 12 say, “Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight, and the earth was filled with violence. And God saw the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.” However, “Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord” (verse 8).

When Jesus described the events that will surround His second coming, He said, “Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man. They were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all” (Luke 17:26–27). Jesus was pointing out that, although the people of Noah’s day were totally depraved, they were not the least bit concerned about it. They were carrying on the events of their lives without a single thought of the judgment of God. Noah is described as a “preacher of righteousness” (2 Peter 2:5), meaning he had spent years warning his friends and neighbors what the Holy God was about to do. No one listened.

The depravity and ungodly lifestyles of the entire world at that time were enough to cause the Lord to “regret that He had made man” (Genesis 6:6). Many scholars believe that part of the need to destroy every human being except Noah and his family was the sin mentioned in Genesis 6:1–4, when “the Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them.” As evil reproduced and overtook the world, the most merciful act God could perform was to start over.

It is interesting that God allowed Noah nearly one hundred years to complete the building of the ark. Through all that time, God patiently waited (1 Peter 3:20). Scripture seems to imply that Noah preached to the people of that time about what was coming (Hebrews 11:7). They did not believe Noah and were content with their wickedness and idolatry. Their hearts were hard and their ears dull. No one repented, and no one cared to seek God.

Jesus said that the world will be much the same before He returns to set up His earthly kingdom (Matthew 25:31–33). He warned us to “be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.” Second Timothy 3:1–4 gives us a clear picture of the state of the world before Jesus comes and most likely also describes the world in the days of Noah. That verse says, “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.” It is becoming increasingly obvious that, to understand what the world was like in the days of Noah, we only need to watch the evening news.

This is due to the grand conspiracy that is being foisted upon us from the evolutionary establishment and hypocrisy of the modern scientific community. In essence, they are covering up as much as they are digging up. Therefore, this study, “In the Days of Noah: Giants, Ancient Technology, and Noah’s Ark” seeks to equip you with the hard facts and solid proof concerning the true history of humanity. Here you will see actual video clips, interviews, and a plethora of photographs that will unlock the answers to such mysterious questions as, “Was there an advanced high-tech society that was destroyed by a great deluge? How did the ancients acquire this knowledge? Did it come from UFO’s or a highly advanced race of intelligent people? Who are the Nephilim? Are giants real? Is there any truth to the Greek Mythologies? Did Noah’s ark really exist? Is Noah real? How did he get all the animals on that ark and is there any solid proof of its existence today?” If you want to discover the real truth that is being hidden from us, get your copy of “In the Days of Noah: Giants, Ancient Technology, and Noah’s Ark.”

As In the Days of Noah :: By Rob Pue

https://www.raptureready.com/2019/06/02/days-noah-rob-pue/

A short time ago, my wife and I were having lunch in a small restaurant on a Sunday, and nearby was a lady pastor, dressed in black clergy garb and collar. She was sitting with several couples around a large, round table. It appeared this was a group from her church, having lunch after their service. As they ate, there was a lively discussion about “fundamentalist” Christians, and how deluded they are. “The problem,” this lady pastor laughed, “is that so many people are stuck in the mindset of what they have always been taught. But now we KNOW so much more. Now we have SCIENCE, which explains so many things that were mysteries to the Bible writers. If only these fundamentalists would open their eyes and adapt to the times!”

Here we had a modern, ultra-liberal lady pastor (and very likely a practicing lesbian, based on other things we observed) surrounded by adoring members of her congregation, and she was instilling doubt in the minds of her flock – doubt that the Bible could be trusted; and more than that, she was actually holding Biblical Scripture up for open mockery and ridicule – along with anyone who would believe God’s Word.

Now, you might think this was maybe a Unitarian Universalist gathering, and it could have been, but it wasn’t. It was a group of people from a MAINLINE so-called “Christian” denomination; and if I shared that denomination with you, you might be surprised. I won’t do that here. I’m trying to be tactful.

But this is an example of what is taking place in our world today. As I sat nearby, overhearing this discussion, the Lord showed me an image of this lady pastor – not as she appeared there in the diner – but as she really is, in her true form: as the serpent we read about in Genesis 3. From the very beginning, Satan’s tactics have been the same… instilling doubt in the minds of God’s people, causing them to distrust God’s Word, and scoffing at people who believe Him.

Here was a mainline Protestant “pastor,” presumably entrusted to teach and instruct and rightly divide the Word of Truth… openly and proudly lying and planting the seeds of doubt in the souls she is responsible for. Literally, there was NO DIFFERENCE between this lady and the serpent in the Garden. Both were betraying the Creator.  BOTH will reap the same reward.

As human beings, we do not know everything. We are not omniscient. But we have been blessed with the knowledge the Lord has seen fit to entrust us with. By reading, studying and meditating upon God’s written Word, we have all the information we need to base our lives on this earth upon. If we needed to know more, we can rest assured, God would have told us more. Some things, however, will remain mysteries to us. Some things are not for us to know. It’s not foolish or simplistic of me to say this or accept this. It’s simply a matter of faith.

I trust my Creator to provide for me and give me the knowledge, information, discernment, judgment and wisdom I need in this world. As I seek to know HIM more, He reveals Himself and His ways to me. He’s my heavenly Father, and I trust Him. Good grief – why wouldn’t I? And how arrogant and presumptuous to assume I know better!

This is not the topic of my message today. But this anecdote is instructive because it is important to remember, Satan, the serpent, is still here today, and still using the same old tactics he did in the garden…and moreover, sometimes he will disguise himself as an angel of light – or, in this case, as a modern-day, liberal Protestant pastor.

But it’s easy to see through the devil’s disguise. Because anytime someone tells you or tries to teach you something contrary to God’s Word, or anytime someone tries to get you to doubt God’s Word – or as they will say, “think critically” (which is code for “did God really say…”) – you can be sure you’re dealing with a serpent. Of course, in order to know if something you’re hearing is contrary to God’s Word, you have to already KNOW what God’s Word really says. I’m assuming, here, that you do.

But now, let’s move on, because I want to talk about a few things we can count on, from God’s Word.  Specifically, how Jesus said when He returns, the world will be like the days of Noah and Lot. So let’s get started, back in Genesis.

Biblical scholars place the time of Creation at approximately 4004 BC. That makes the Earth and all things in it about 6,019 years old. And at that time, in the beginning, when God created all things, He declared everything “Good.”

But it wasn’t long before the serpent lured mankind into sin, and this was accomplished first of all by causing Adam and Eve to doubt what God said. One simple doubt, one lapse of faith and good judgment, brought death and destruction upon all mankind.

If you read the Bible through from cover to cover, you will see a pattern woven throughout the history of all humanity… all of our woes, all of our sorrows, all of our regrets… we bring all these things upon ourselves because we doubt what God said.  How many times did Jesus lament, with great sorrow, “Oh ye of little faith?!” If only we believed. If only we had the faith of a mustard seed! Indeed.

History moved on. Many centuries came and went. In Genesis, we read about Cain and Abel, Seth, Enosh, Jared, Methuselah, Lamech, and finally, Noah. Finally, we come to chapter six in Genesis, and I’d like to share that with you, starting at verse 5.

“The Lord saw how great man’s wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. The Lord was grieved that He had made man on the earth, and His heart was filled with pain. So the Lord said, ‘I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth – men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air – for I am grieved that I have made them.’”

Of course, we all know what happened next. God purified the earth through the flood, saving only eight souls alive, and we began again. Then the Lord promised to never again destroy the earth with a flood.  He said,

“I have set My rainbow in the clouds and it will be the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.”

It is interesting to note that the rainbow – the symbol the LORD chose as His covenant with us – has today been hijacked by the homosexual lobby, and they’ve turned it into a sign of prideful rebellion against God and nature.

Bible scholars place the time of the flood at approximately 2304 BC, so there were approximately 1,700 years between the creation of the earth and Noah’s flood. It was about 406 years later, in approximately 1898 BC, that we read another account of God’s anger. You can read about this starting in Genesis 18… the story of Sodom and Gomorrah.

God said, “The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so grievous…”

Yet He promised Abraham that for the sake of ten people who might be found in those cities to be righteous, He would not destroy them. Apparently, there were not even ten, because the next thing we read, the LORD sends two angels, appearing as men, to investigate the cities and to rescue Abraham’s nephew Lot and his family.

As we read the account of the angels visiting Sodom, the way the men of the city of Sodom behave is eerily familiar. These men are homosexuals. They march in unison against Lot’s home. They surround it and make demands. They yell and scream and condemn Lot for “judging” them. They attack and try to break down the door.

It sounds very much like the typical “gay pride parade” of today… anytime there is a homosexual “pride” march or parade, there is always anger and hatred, there is always those among them accusing Christians of “judging” them, there is always mockery of God and Christianity, along with vile displays of perverse sensuality, and vicious disrespect of the things we hold sacred. Because the same demonic spirit inhabits modern homosexuals as it did in the days of Lot… Satan is not that bright – he only has a couple of tricks.

Now here we are today. As I write this message, it is literally impossible to keep up with all that is happening in our world regarding man’s rush to self-destruction. It’s mind-boggling, and we have taken the offense of Sodom and Gomorrah to a whole new level. Not only have we used our silly Courts to try to redefine the God-ordained institution of marriage, we have made it mandatory to steal the innocence of young children, and indoctrinate and confuse them about sexuality; and then we’ve made it illegal to counsel them to remain “straight” when they become confused!

We not only kill our own babies for convenience, we then sell their body parts for profit. And we have leaders in power who praise child-rapists and savages who behead and torture innocent victims, while calling humble, peaceful Christians who follow God’s Word “homegrown terrorists.” I can’t imagine it was any worse in Noah’s time or in Lot’s time, can you?

But Jesus said it would be like this. And once again, God’s Word proves true. There will be plenty who laugh it off, and cast doubt. And the Bible even tells us plainly that THIS will happen. There will be those who defiantly boast, “Where is the promise of His coming?” But remember how I said to identify a serpent…

We are reliving the days of Noah and Lot right now. Look at the words of Christ in Luke 17:

“Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.”

He went on: “It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed.”

“I will come again,” said Jesus in John 14:3. Really, that is the only solution to this mess. We don’t know when He will come, not the hour nor the day. Only the Father Himself knows the appointed time. But, observing the signs of the times and believing God’s Word, we know that surely we MUST be at the very brink of eternity.

So how shall we live then? In fear? In dread? Should we hide in our closets or our churches and just let the wicked world around us burn? No! God’s Word tells us:

“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age, looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior, Jesus Christ, Who gave Himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for Himself a people that are His very own, eager to do good works.”

We can get caught up in the mess, we can put our hope in the leaders of this world, we can hope and pray “our” candidate wins the White House next year and solves all our problems. But we would be wrong. Our hope, our only hope, lies in the Savior, God’s Son – just as it always has.

I’m not saying we should resign ourselves to a wicked, evil world. Surely, we are still to be salt and light here. We’re still to stand up for God’s Word and Truth, we are to share the Gospel, and like those angels who were sent to warn Lot, rescue as many as we can from the fire. We are to stand in the gap for the innocent, and to minister and love those the world – and the “religious leaders” – choose to pass by on the other side of the street, refusing to look upon. We must still BE that good Samaritan.

But meanwhile, we also have a great hope. We know God’s Word and His promises are true, and we know we need never doubt, nor should we put our trust or our hope in the temporal and vain things of man. Our faith, our resolve and our fortitude will be greatly tested, as through the fire. But we know, the one who endures to the end shall be saved.

The raindrops fell in Noah’s time. The fire fell upon Sodom. And now the Grace of God will come from the sky next, riding on the clouds, just as He departed.

Luke 21:28 tells us, “Look up, and lift up your heads, for your redemption is drawing near!”

Any day now. Watch… and pray.

As In the Days of Noah

As It Was In The Days Of Noah

https://www.unsealed.org/2017/07/as-it-was-in-days-of-noah.html

The terrorist organization Hamas is back in the news in a major way because of the Temple Mount fiasco.  They are once again threatening riots and violence against Israel.

Matt over at the Daily Crow found an intriguing article from 2014 that explained that "Hamas" is actually the same word used in Genesis 6:11 and Genesis 6:13 to describe the violence that was on the earth shortly before the Flood came.  Is that just coincidence?  Look at the Hebrew interlinear for yourself here.

Ge 6-11.png
Ge 6-13.png

Remember what Jesus clearly said to His disciples in Matthew 24:37As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

The Bible doesn't tell us much about the days of Noah, but we know there was much violence (Genesis 6:116:13) and strange sexuality (Genesis 6:1-4).  Jesus adds that for many or most of the inhabitants of the earth at the time, life seemed to be going on quite normally before the Flood came (Matthew 24:38-39).

Consider for a moment these seven striking parallels, types, and shadows of the days of Noah that uniquely point to our generation - and not just our generation, but perhaps even this specific decade:

1. For the first time in human history, full-scale replicas of Noah's Ark have been built.  And we're not just talking one replica, but three:

Ark - Kentucky.jpg

The Ark Encounter in Kentucky (opened in 2016)

Ark - Hong Kong.jpg

Noah's Ark theme park in Hong Kong (opened in 2009)

Ark - Netherlands.jpg

Johan Huiber's ark in the Netherlands (opened in 2012)

There is now a witness to the reality of Noah's Ark and the global Flood in Asia, Europe, and North America.  It has been roughly 4,300 years since the Flood and now for the first time ever, just this past decade, there are full-scale replicas of the ark - and you mean to tell me this doesn't mean anything?  In my humble opinion, I think God is in control and is trying to wake us all up.

2. Unbelievers and Christians-in-name-only are mocking both the Flood and the rapture and arguing that the Flood never happened (see 2 Peter 3:1-7).

God’s Promise Is Not Slack

2 Peter 3:3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Mocking & Scoffing.jpg

3. "Noah" is the most popular baby name in the United States for the fourth or fifth year in a row.  I mean come on people, Noah!

4. The rainbow is back.  Synonymous with the days of Noah is the rainbow.  God described the rainbow in Genesis 9:13-17 as a sign that He would never again destroy all life on the earth with a Flood.  Yet we know from 2 Peter 3 that another global cataclysm will come, but this time by fire - and the world is willfully ignorant.  It is also interesting that it is the LGBT movement that has stolen the rainbow for their own use.  The Apostle Paul uses homosexuality as an example of why God's wrath is coming (Romans 1:18-32).

Rainbow White House.jpg

5. The earth now has more violence than it has ever had and though 99% of statistics are made up on the spot, this one is very likely true.  More murder, more armed conflicts, and more terrorism than ever before.  In just this past year nearly as many children were murdered via abortion as the total number of people who died in all of World War II combined.  Astonishing.  God once put an end to the violence of mankind with a Flood and surely He will keep His promise to stop mankind again, this time with fire.  Remember that it was violence that ultimately triggered the Flood (Genesis 6:11, Genesis 6:13).

6. Mankind is once again involved as it was in Noah's day in the creation hybrids and chimeras, a sickening violation of God's created kinds (Genesis 1:20-25, 6:1-4).  With genetic breakthroughs like CRISPR, mankind has begun playing god with wanton and arrogant abandonment - manipulating and hybridizing species in a way God never intended.  Geneticists are even on the verge of creating brand new life forms.

Genetic tampering.png

7. In just the past few years more evidence for a young earth and a global Flood has emerged: the R.A.T.E. project (see also here), pliable tyrannosaur muscle tissue, a fully preserved Nodosaur, and the consolidation of ancient Flood myths from all over the world, among many, many others.

Archaeological evidence of young earth and global flood.jpg

This list shouldn't cause you to fear or despair, but simply to wake up to the lateness of the hour.  Jesus said His return would happen at a time like the days of Noah and now, finally, after 2,000 years, it is.  Jesus' first appearing was not to condemn the world, but to save it (John 3:16-18) and we know that if we repent and believe the Good News we will be saved.

Today is the day of salvation.  Today is the appointed time.  Repent and board the Ark now because tomorrow is not guaranteed.

As It Was In The Days Of Noah

Earth was corrupt and filled with violence

Genesis 6:5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. 7 So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” … 11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.

Genesis 6:17 – The Ark Prepared

Ge 6:17 And behold, I Myself am bringing floodwaters on the earth, to destroy from under heaven all flesh in which is the breath of life; everything that is on the earth shall die.

Genesis 7:17-24 – The Great Flood

Ge 7:11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. 12 And the rain was on the earth forty days and forty nights. … 17 Now the flood was on the earth forty days. The waters increased and lifted up the ark, and it rose high above the earth. 18 The waters prevailed and greatly increased on the earth, and the ark moved about on the surface of the waters. 19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly on the earth, and all the high hills under the whole heaven were covered. 20 The waters prevailed fifteen cubits upward, and the mountains were covered. 21 And all flesh died that moved on the earth: birds and cattle and beasts and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every man. 22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, all that was on the dry land, died. 23 So He destroyed all living things which were on the face of the ground: both man and cattle, creeping thing and bird of the air. They were destroyed from the earth. Only Noah and those who were with him in the ark remained alive. 24 And the waters prevailed on the earth one hundred and fifty days.

5 You who laid the foundations of the earth, So that it should not be moved forever,
6 You covered it with the deep as with a garment; The waters stood above the mountains.
7 At Your rebuke they fled; At the voice of Your thunder they hastened away.
8 They went up over the mountains; They went down into the valleys, To the place which You founded for them.
9 You have set a boundary that they may not pass over, That they may not return to cover the earth.

Lucifer’s desire to destroy humanity, men and women made in the image of God, is hard for us to fathom. But throughout history he’s tried to destroy everything God called good. Tim Alberino’s research on the genetic hybrids of Genesis 6 led directly to the catastrophic flood of Noah and the near destruction of the entire human race.

Genesis 19:1-5 – Sodom’s Depravity

Ge 19:1 Now the two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them, and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground. 2 And he said, “Here now, my lords, please turn in to your servant’s house and spend the night, and wash your feet; then you may rise early and go on your way.” And they said, “No, but we will spend the night in the open square.” 3 But he insisted strongly; so they turned in to him and entered his house. Then he made them a feast, and baked unleavened bread, and they ate. 4 Now before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both old and young, all the people from every quarter, surrounded the house. 5 And they called to Lot and said to him, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally.”

Jude 1:7 – Old and New Apostates

Jude 1:7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Best-Selling Children's History Series Turns Drag Queens Into National Heroes

WHO HQ - Drag versions of history.jpg

Have you heard of the Who HQ children's history books? Their website claims to be "the best place to discover all the fascinating stories and amazing facts about trailblazers, legends, places, and events."

And, as featured as a headline on their books, they are, "The #1 New York Times Best-Selling Series" in children's history books. It looks like this series has carved out quite a niche for itself.

The books ask (and answer) the following questions: Who was? What was? Where is? What is the story of?

Among their most popular books are: Who Was Neil Armstrong? Where Is the Taj Mahal? Where Is Our Solar System? Who Is Michelle Obama? And, What Was the Great Depression?

Each book is attractively laid out, with big print and illustrations on every page, giving this series great appeal for children.

In these books (in particular, the Who Was? and the Who Is? series), your kids can learn about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln and Albert Einstein and Ruth Bader Ginsburg . . . and RuPaul!

That's right, one of the latest trailblazers featured in this popular series is Drag Queen RuPaul. Maybe your boys can follow his example one day!

It was actually an Orthodox Jewish rabbi who works on college campuses who let me know about this book (and the book series), sharing his shock with me that such material could be found in his local library. Is this what you want your kids to be reading?

Unfortunately, books like this (and much worse) have been found in our local and school libraries for many years now, with some of them rightly classified as pornographic.

That, of course, is not the case with the RuPaul book. But it is appalling that a Drag Queen is being celebrated as an example for your children. Isn't this further proof that our culture has lost its mind?

As for RuPaul the human being, I have the same concern for him that I have for every other human being, be they gay or straight, drag or other. I want them to know the Lord and receive His forgiveness, and I will treat each person I meet with kindness and civility.

And for all I know, in many ways, RuPaul could be a very caring and decent person (or not).

But to celebrate him as a historic figure in a children's history series is moral insanity, especially when he is being set forth as an example to emulate. You too, can be like Ru, boys!

The book begins by lauding September 18, 2016, marking the first time a drag queen had won an Emmy. Kids, this is big, special news!

But for Ru, "Everybody within the sound of my voice is in drag, right now, whether [they] know it or not."

That's right. The moment you put on clothes of any kind, you are in drag.

So, what's the big deal about a man dressing up in exaggerated form as a woman? And if the great majority of men who do this are gay, so what? All of us are drag queens or drag kings! Yes, this is what your kids need to know.

To quote a RuPaul joke, "You can call me he, you can call me she . . . as long you call me." (Yes, this gem is in the book too.) Indeed, being a famous drag queen was part of his "destiny."

Is it possible that some of Ru's self-identification comes from the fact that his parents divorced when he was 7, leaving his mother so upset that, for a time, his older sisters raised him? Don't expect an answer to that question in this book.

Be assured, however, that this book is quite practical, featuring a section called, "Tools of the Trade." Here, your children will learn that, "A drag queen's character is typically and exaggerated, campy image of how women look. To create this illusion, drag queens have some tricks up their sleeves." These "tricks" include: makeup; hair (wigs); corsets; and padding ("Gives a drag queen wider hips.") So good to know this!

And for the young history buffs, this book offers "A Brief History of Drag," where these interested kids will learn that, "Dressing in the traditional clothing of the opposite sex - called cross-dressing - has existed throughout history." Yes, from ancient civilizations (like the Egyptians and the Aztecs) to the times of William Shakespeare, and from the first Miss Gay America pageant in 1972 to RuPaul today, drag has always been with us.

These kids will also learn about that time in the past "When Drag Was a Crime." But fear not, young people. After the Stonewall Riots in New York City in 1969, "What followed was a nationwide movement for queer rights that continues to this day." (Somehow, a few pages later, all this is tied with the March on Washington in 1963 and Dr. King's famous, "I have a dream" speech.)

Finally, to make this little, 100+ page book even more down to earth, we are given two pages of "Drag Slang," including words like: hunty or henny; yas and work; sickening (speaking of something so good it makes you sick); slay; reading; What's the T (or tea)? (with T standing for "truth"; "to spill tea is to speak the truth"); and kiki ("to gossip, to spill tea"). This too, is good to know, not to mention very helpful.

And there you have it, all for your children to read and emulate, especially your boys. They can dress up like girls too, and maybe one day they'll be famous, just like RuPaul!

A society that celebrates drag queens, to the point of exalting RuPaul and sanctioning drag queens reading to toddlers, is a society that has lost its way and is on the verge of collapse.

Sanctioning Sodom

https://terryjamesprophecyline.com/2021/12/19/sanctioning-sodom/

Significant proof of advanced end-times prophetic progression recently leaped to the forefront of communications coming from some within the Roman Catholic Church.

I have mentioned before that I receive on a regular basis a newsletter from These Last Days Ministries, a Catholic group. It is especially interesting to me because those presenting the news and commentary do so from a viewpoint remarkably like that of us who hold to the pre-Trib view of Bible prophecy.

To put it mildly, they are no fan of the current pope. As a matter of fact, they have even communicated several times that they see him as a candidate for the false prophet, the second beast of Revelation chapter 13. With Pope Francis’ latest action, he brings to the forefront, for those willing to see, that he is deserving of such accusation. His action is Antichrist—anti-biblical—at its very core.

The pontiff is a supporter of abortion. He recently publicly gave President Biden and, in effect, the entirety of the Democrat Party, a blanket pass on the killing of babies in the womb—a matter long seen as great sin by the Roman Catholic Church.

We have written before this pope’s predisposition to support things that portend Antichrist’s arrival.

He has said on more than several occasions that there ways to God, Heaven, and salvation of the soul other than through belief in Jesus Christ alone. He has backed up those political minions in high places within the Catholic Church, giving them a pass on the murder of millions of babies through abortion. He has embraced at every opportunity the climate-change madness and the worship of Mother Earth and the Gaia mantra that we must all come together to save the planet.

He joins the totally reprobate purveyors of insanity who demand that all must either submit to an experimental, highly questionable injection or be excluded from the formerly normal activities of the compliant human community.

Now Pope Francis has moved into the area of anti-God activity that Jesus, Himself, indicated will mark the moments leading up to His intervention into human history. The pope has sanctioned homosexuality in no uncertain terms and those in the Catholic Church who know this is anti-God at its black heart are pushing back.

The word “sanction,” like so many English words, has more than one meaning. It can mean a prohibition against or a punishment for defying or violating a regulated matter (for example, when the US sanctions Iran for not abiding by agreements on atomic weapons development). But the use of the word in the sense that it means to approve or accept an action or conduct is how this pope has “sanctioned” homosexuality, despite God calling it “abomination.”

And this is the gist of the newsletter I recently received from the Catholic group that I mentioned earlier.

Following is an excerpt that explains their displeasure with this pope’s action.

Francis has written to pro-LGBT New Ways Ministry, praising and thanking the group and its founders, despite its long-standing opposition to Church teaching on matters of sexual morality and consequent censorship by Church authorities.

On December 8, the National Catholic Reporter (NCR) revealed that Pope Francis wrote two letters to the group’s executive director, Francis Deeryard, on May 3 and June 17. The NCR stated that the letters were on official “Vatican stationary,” and written in Spanish.

The first letter, dated May 3, was in response to an April 21 letter DeBernardo had written to the Pope, explaining the nature of the pro-homosexual New Ways Ministry (NWM). The organization claims it “educates and advocates for justice and equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) Catholics, and reconciliation within the larger church and civil communities.”

According to NCR, Francis wrote of a discernible “attitude of shepherd closeness” in NWM, saying that DeBernardo’s letter had “helped me a lot to know the full story you tell me…”…

The second letter from the Pope to DeBernardo – a long-time advocate of homosexuality, and a 29-year veteran with New Ways Ministry – again praised the NWM head while also honoring NWM’s co-founder Sr. Jeannine Gramick.

“Thank you for your neighborly work…[your] heart, open to your neighbor,” wrote the Pope, before praising Gramick, who has a long history of dissenting from Catholic teaching on homosexuality and abortion…

“The Holy Father’s warm letter to New Ways Ministry is not only another step in his outreach to LGBTQ people, but the beginning of a kind of rehabilitation for New Ways, and for Sister Jeannine [NWM’s co-founder Sr. Jeannine Gramick] as well, in recognition of their important ministry in our church.” (“Francis Praises Dissident Pro-LGBT ‘Catholic’ Group Previously Condemned by the Church,” by Michael Haynes, LifeSiteNews, December 9, 2021)

We are now well into times “as it was in the days of Lot” in the wicked city of Sodom, as the Lord Jesus forewarned (Luke 17:26–30). Homosexuality and all forms of sexual perversions marked that time. The “falling away” of 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 is manifest starkly for all who can discern the lateness of the prophetic hour.

It’s time to “watch” (Mark 13: 37), but it is even more imperative that believers witness as never before to bring lost souls to Christ before the shout is heard from above, “Come up here!”

“And when you see all these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your head, for your redemption is drawing near.” (Luke 21: 28)

L Sanctioning Sodom

Wickedness

Genesis 13:12-13 – Abram Inherits Canaan

Ge 13:12 Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelt in the cities of the plain and pitched his tent even as far as Sodom. 13 But the men of Sodom were exceedingly wicked and sinful against the Lord.

Ezekiel 16:48-50 – More Wicked than Samaria and Sodom

Ez 16:48 “As I live,” says the Lord God, “neither your sister Sodom nor her daughters have done as you and your daughters have done. 49 Look, this was the iniquity of your sister Sodom: She and her daughter had pride, fullness of food, and abundance of idleness; neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. 50 And they were haughty and committed abomination before Me; therefore I took them away as I saw fit.

Jeremiah 23:14 – False Prophets and Empty Oracles

Jer 23:14 Also I have seen a horrible thing in the prophets of Jerusalem: They commit adultery and walk in lies;
They also strengthen the hands of evildoers, So that no one turns back from his wickedness.
All of them are like Sodom to Me, And her inhabitants like Gomorrah.

Genesis 18:16-21 – Abraham Intercedes for Sodom

Ge 18:16 Then the men rose from there and looked toward Sodom, and Abraham went with them to send them on the way. 17 And the Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing, 18 since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19 For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.” 20 And the Lord said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave, 21 I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry against it that has come to Me; and if not, I will know.”

Isaiah 3:9-12 – Judgment on Judah and Jerusalem

Is 3:9 The look on their countenance witnesses against them, And they declare their sin as Sodom;
They do not hide it. Woe to their soul! For they have brought evil upon themselves.

10 “Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, For they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
11 Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, For the reward of his hands shall be given him.
12 As for My people, children are their oppressors, And women rule over them.
O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths.”

Genesis 19:12-13 – Sodom and Gomorrah Destroyed

Ge 19:12 Then the men said to Lot, “Have you anyone else here? Son-in-law, your sons, your daughters, and whomever you have in the city—take them out of this place! 13 For we will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown great before the face of the Lord, and the Lord has sent us to destroy it.”

GOD WILL SAVE THE RIGHTEOUS

2 Peter 2:4-11 – Doom of False Teachers

2Pe 2:4 For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; 5 and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; 6 and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; 7 and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked 8 (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)— 9 then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, 10 and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, 11 whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord.

  • The word translated temptations is the same word translated tribulation
  • Noah is a picture of the Jewish remnant that will indeed go through the tribulation.  They will be refined with fire and at last come to Jesus as a result. Enoch is the picture of the church, raptured before the flood.

Psalm 37:39-40 The Heritage of the Righteous and the Calamity of the Wicked

Ps 37:39 But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in the time of trouble.
40 And the Lord shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked,

And save them, Because they trust in Him.

Jude 1:5-7 – Old and New Apostates

Jude 1:5 But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. 6 And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; 7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
