The Roman Empire thrived when its citizens valued marriage and family. It fell when the family stopped being cherished.

Why do great nations or empires fall? Why do superpowers fall? It is a fact of history that all world-ruling empires have collapsed. But why did they collapse?

There is a cause for every effect. The great historian Edward Gibbons wrote about the fall of the Roman Empire, the greatest empire of all the world-ruling empires. If you study Gibbons’s work, it’s obvious that America and Britain are headed in the same direction!

In his historic masterpiece, The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, Gibbons identifies five major causes that contributed to the fall of the Roman Empire: First, the breakdown of the family. Second, increased taxation. Third, an insatiable craving for pleasure. Fourth, an unsustainable buildup of armaments. Fifth, the decay of religion.

One of the greatest historians of all time is telling us how and why ancient Rome fell. Don’t the conditions surrounding Rome’s fall sound eerily similar to the conditions prevalent in the United States and British Commonwealth today?

History shows that the strength of any nation depends upon the strength of its families. Family is the rock-solid foundation on which a country’s superstructure is erected. That was the case for both America and Britain.

Rome in its heyday was affluent and had the mightiest army on Earth, just like America today. Back then, when people talked about Rome falling, they were scorned and scoffed at. When Seneca, the famous Roman, warned that Rome would fall—even telling people why it would fall—the people scoffed and ignored his warnings. In the words of Seneca, one of the foundational reasons Rome would fall was the fact that “they divorce in order to remarry. They marry in order to divorce.”

Seneca warned that family breakdown would destroy the Roman Empire!

But couldn’t Seneca’s warning just as easily apply to America and Britain today? Divorce and family disintegration are rampant in these nations.

The Modern Romans, a booklet produced in 1975 by Ambassador College, stated the following (emphasis mine throughout):

Largely forgotten today is the fact that the home is the basic foundation of any society. It is the most influential element in national character. It lays the first groundwork for learning individual character, values, goals, morality, self-control and loyalty. The early Romans basically understood this, and it was a force that helped Rome grow in power and stature. In the book Rome, Its Rise and Fall, the author Philip Van Ness Meyers notes: “First at the bottom, as it were, of Roman society in forming its ultimate unit, was the family. … The most important feature or element of this family group was the authority of the father.”

Rome, like the United States, was built on a foundation of strong, stable families in which the father was embraced as the chief authority!

It would be difficult to overestimate the influence of the group [family] upon the history and destiny of Rome. It was the cradle of at least some of those splendid virtues of the early Romans that contributed so much to the strength and greatness of Rome, and that helped to give her dominion of the world.

Strong nations are underpinned by strong families.

E.B. Castle wrote about the Roman Empire in his 1961 book Ancient Education and Today: “The [early Roman] boy’s upbringing was founded on a profound conviction of the power of example, first of the father himself as a representative of virtues peculiarly Roman, but also of the great prototypes of Roman valor in the boy’s family and national history who were presented to him as men worthy of admiration.”

The father was the nucleus of the early Roman family. He led his sons and daughters and was an example of the virtues they were to develop.

Taxidus, a Roman historian of the early empire, wrote, “In the good old days [that is, of the Republic] every man’s son born in wedlock, was brought up not in the chamber of some hireling nurse, but in his mother’s lap and at her knee. And that mother could have no higher praise than that she managed the house and gave herself to her children.” Society valued the women for rearing, educating, loving, and giving the children the time and tender care they needed. “Religiously and with utmost delicacy, she regulated not only the serious task of her youthful charges, but their recreations also and their games. … The idea of entrusting the training of a future Roman citizen to the incompetent guidance of a slave was repellant to the Roman mind at this time.”

God says that’s the way it ought to be: that families need to stick together (Matthew 19:4-5). Husbands and wives must work to bind their marriages together. God said that in marriage you ought to cleave to one another and become one flesh.

But the Romans, as in America today, began to turn to a new morality that no longer valued marriage and the family. This new morality caused them to lose respect for marriage and family.

Today, no-fault divorces are about as easy to get as going to the supermarket to buy your groceries. That’s exactly what happened to Rome. As E.B. Castle wrote (op. cit.),

Added to this initial cause of family disruption was the consequent easy attitude to the marriage tie, the increasing frequency of divorce and growing freedom and laxity in women’s morals, all of which ended in loosening of the old family unit in which the best in Roman character had its roots.

History shows clearly the foundational reason for the fall of the awesome and mighty Roman Empire. We ignore this history at our peril.

Today, most people have rejected the law of cause and effect. We think we can discard marriage and family and suffer no consequences—but the history of Rome ought to teach us what the fruits of family breakdown are—and will be!

Jerome Carcopino wrote in Daily Life in Ancient Rome that by the beginning of the second century a.d., in general, Roman fathers had

yielded to the impulse to become far too complacent, having given up the habit of controlling their children, they let the children govern them, and took pleasure in bleeding themselves white to gratify the expensive whims of their offspring. The result was that they were succeeded by a generation of idlers and wastrels.

Take an honest look at Western societies today: Our parenting is exactly the same!

Carcopino continued: “From this time on [in Rome] we witness an epidemic of divorces—at least among the aristocracy whose matrimonial adventures are documented ….”

In Isaiah 3, the ancient prophet warns that family breakdown would be a defining feature in America and Britain before the return of Christ. He also explains how this would come about: “For, behold, the Lord, the [Eternal] of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water, The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient, The captain of fifty, and the honorable man, and the counselor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator. And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them. And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbor …” (Isaiah 3:1-5).

God says strong leaders, including strong fathers, would be a rarity, and that children and teenagers would rule the family and dominate the culture. Does that sound like society in America and Britain today?

“[T]he child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honorable” (verse 5). Look around! Is there any doubt children and teenagers rule over the adults and dominate society and culture?

“As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths” (verse 12). It’s a lesson of history: A nation’s success or failure hinges on the strength or weakness of its families. That’s what Edward Gibbons told us, and that’s what God is telling us in Isaiah 3.

In Isaiah’s prophecy the family is so upside down, and the father so anemic, that he’s not even mentioned. Where are the fathers that God says should be leading their families—the type of fathers that helped make Rome great? In this prophecy the women are ruling, although even they are being oppressed by the children. In reality, the children are leading, just as Gibbons said they were in ancient Rome when it was on its way toward monstrous collapse!

The history of Rome confirms what the Bible teaches about marriage and family!

In a May 16, 1999, Washington Post editorial, David Blankenhorn, founder of the Institute for American Values, was quoted as saying: “The most important predictor of criminal behavior is the father’s absence.” The author then agreed with Blankenhorn by saying “the two-parent household has been universal across both time and geography.” Do you get that? The two-parent household has been universal across both time and geography, all over the world, for all of man’s history.

But what has happened in this end time? “Men,” this article said, “have been linked through marriage to their children and their mothers. Not only has the primacy of motherhood NEVER been questioned, we also have NEVER doubted the children need fathers UNTIL NOW.” We live in a culture that constantly undermines the role of the father. Throughout history, mankind understood that children needed fathers, but now psychologists are trying to tell us that the father is not necessary to rearing healthy children. In actuality, what these studies and the pervasive anti-father movement are telling you is how to DESTROY families and destroy nations. The history of Rome teaches that these people have no idea what they’re talking about!

Here’s another scripture about the critical role of the father: “And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?” (Hebrews 12:5-9).

That scripture, among many others, tells us that God is a Father! In fact, one of the greatest truths taught in the Bible is that God is a Family! The Bible teaches that human marriage and family are God-ordained institutions, created for a divine and spectacular purpose. Some people understand the importance of family, but even they (in most all cases) don’t really understand the incredible human potential of a person to be born into the very Family of God!

This is such an awesome relationship that we have, and family and marriage has such awesome meaning. We must understand it if we’re ever going to have strong families and strong nations!

My fellow Americans, we fearfully worry and debate, especially during an election year, whether the actions or inactions of a particular candidate or party are going to destroy the United States. The answer to the debate is, “Yes! Yes, they are.” After all, as a nation we’ve kicked God out of just about every institution in our society. Our leaders, no matter what party, just do not seek the counsel and wisdom of God.

The greatest ruler of Israel — King David — warned his citizens that when, “they rebelled against the words of God, and despised the counsel of the Most High, He brought down their heart and there was none to help” (Psalm 107:11–12). As long as we as a nation ignore the eternal wisdom of God and try to go it alone based on one, our own very limited understanding of the universe, and two, because we’re working off a broken moral compass, we most definitely as a nation are doomed to failure.

Bleak? Yes, but not hopeless, if only we as a nation repent and turn back to God (2 Chronicles 7:14; Psalm 107:13).

Does the Bible contain any prophecies concerning the United States that will help Americans make an informed decision during an election? Here are four biblical references where it is believed the United States can be found in end time Bible prophecy.

1. “A nation tall and smooth of skin” (Isaiah 18)

Verse seven prophesies how, “a present will be brought to the Lord of hosts from a people tall and smooth of skin, and from a people terrible from their beginning onward, a nation powerful and treading down, whose land the rivers divide.”

When it comes to describing the United States, the reference to a powerful nation divided by great rivers, such as the Mississippi River, fits the bill. But, the smooth skin part? Context is vital to interpretation, and verses 1–2 address the country of Ethiopia, which in Isaiah’s time included the Sudan, so therefore the dividing river is the Nile River. These people are Ethiopians/Sudanese, and clearly not Americans.

2. “The merchants of Tarshish and all their young lions” (Ezekiel 38–39)

In this future prophecy, the people of Tarshish sit back and do nothing but watch Russia and the Islamic nations of the Middle East attempt to invade Israel. In Ezekiel’s time, roughly 600 BC, Tarshish was considered the nation at the Western end of the earth. So, it’s assumed, her “young lions” must be the New World colonies of the West. But, was Tarshish Britain or Spain? Historians aren’t sure. So this may be a reference to the Spanish–speaking colonies, and not the English–speaking ones, which would have included the United States.

3. “A great eagle” (Revelation 12)

Revelation 12 tells a story of a Dragon who is cast down to the earth, and he persecutes the Woman who gave birth to the Male Child. But the Woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is protected.

Some have interpreted this passage to mean that in the future the Dragon (Satan) will persecute the Woman (Israel) who gave birth to the Male Child (Jesus), and a great eagle (the symbol of America) will rescue the Jews from the Antichrist with something like a massive airlift. Well, everything up to the Eagle is interpreted correctly, but God in Deuteronomy 32 describes Israel’s deliverance from Egyptian slavery as, “how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself.” The eagle’s wings, God explains, is Himself and not the United States.

4. Babylon the Great (Revelation 18)

This passage foretells of a coming one–world ruler who will reign from “Babylon”. The ruler’s empire is described as having made the nations drunk on her fornications and the merchants of the earth rich through her luxuries. God then destroys this evil empire in “one hour.”

Some conclude that since the United States is powerful, wealthy, and the moral polluters of the world that Babylon must be the United States, or at least New York City or Hollywood. The context, though, is a new global government where all the nations of the world are members. America, if it still exists during that future time, would only be a member state, never having reached the status of a global empire.

Summary

So, where can the United States be found in Bible prophecy? Not in any of those four passages. But, God does say, “the indignation of the Lord is against all nations, and His fury against all their armies” (Isaiah 34), and that He will utterly destroy the nations of the world when Jesus returns to set up His Kingdom (Jeremiah 30:11; 46:28; Daniel 2). So, in these general prophecies which address all the nations of the world, the United States, like the rest, can be found.

But, remember, Christians, the Apostle Paul reminds us that our true citizenship is not of this world, but in Heaven (Philippians 3:20). So, while we wait for Christ’s coming kingdom, do as Jesus commanded, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven (Matthew 5:13–16).

Where is the United States in Bible prophecy? It is a question I am asked wherever I go. It is only natural that we should wonder. Since the United States is not mentioned specifically by name in Bible prophecy, people have resorted to their imaginations to find our nation in the Scriptures.

A “tall and smooth people”?

Some have pointed to Isaiah 18 which speaks of a people “tall and smooth” who are “feared far and wide.” The passage further states that this is a “powerful nation whose land the rivers divide.” The chapter ends by stating that the people of this nation will bring “a gift of homage” to the Lord when He returns to reign from Mt. Zion.

Because these verses speak of a powerful nation whose land is divided by a great river, some have jumped to the conclusion that the nation is the United States since it is divided by the Mississippi River.

But the opening verses of this chapter indicate it is speaking of “Cush,” the ancient name of Ethiopia. At the time Isaiah wrote this passage, Ethiopia was a part of the Egyptian empire and the river referred to is undoubtedly the Nile.

A “village” of Tarshish?

Probably one of the most popular passages where people claim to have found the U.S. is in Ezekiel 38 where the prophet describes an invasion of Israel that will be launched in the end times by a nation “from the remote parts of the north.” The descriptive verses about the northern power make it clear that this nation is Russia. What is not so clear is where the U.S. fits into this invasion.

Those who find us in the passage point to Ezekiel 38:13 which says that “the merchants of Tarshish and all its villages” (or “young lions” depending on translation) will speak out against the invasion. The argument is that Tarshish is Britain and the “villages” or “young lions” are the English speaking nations like the U.S. and Australia that were founded by British immigrants.

To say the least, this is a highly imaginative interpretation. Its validity is seriously questioned by the fact that no one knows for certain the true identity of “Tarshish.” Furthermore, recent archaeological developments indicate that Tarshish was most likely Spain, not Britain.

A “great eagle”?

Another favorite passage for applied imagination is Revelation 12:13-17. These verses state that in the middle of the Tribulation God will provide a means of escape for the Jewish remnant in Israel. They will be carried into the wilderness to a hiding place on the “wings of a great eagle.”

Some people have seized on this imagery to teach that the U.S., whose national symbol is the eagle, will supply the end time air lift that will save the Jewish remnant.

But the Bible is its own best interpreter. And when you look up the phrase, “wings of an eagle,” you will find that it is the same one that God used in Exodus 19:4 to describe how He brought the Israelites out of Egypt. God is the eagle, not the United States (see Deuteronomy 32:11).

“Babylon the great?”

This brings us to the final and most widely used passage for identifying the U.S. in Bible prophecy. It is Revelation 18 where the destruction of “Babylon the great” is described.

There is no doubt that the United States shares many similarities with the corrupt commercial empire described in this chapter. But the U.S. is not a fulfillment of Revelation 18. That chapter is describing the last Gentile world empire that will dominate the earth at the time of the Lord’s Second Coming. It is the empire of the Antichrist.

A Conclusion

So, where is the United States in Bible prophecy? The answer is that we are not mentioned directly and specifically. We are covered by general prophecies that relate to all nations, but beyond that, our end time destiny must be a matter of speculation.

General prophecies that apply to the U.S. include those that say all nations will be judged (Isaiah 34:2-3) and all nations will cease to exist except the nation of Israel (Jeremiah 30:11 and 46:28).

A Speculation

I personally believe that the reason the U.S. is not mentioned in end time prophecy is because we will suddenly cease to be a world power and will therefore play no significant role in end time events.

The destruction of American power is most likely to occur in two stages. The first could be an economic catastrophe that will result from our out of control debt situation. Our god is the dollar, and the Lord is going to destroy that god when the weight of our debt collapses our economy.

The second stage could occur when Russia launches its invasion of Israel (prophesied in Ezekiel 38 and 39). I believe it is very likely that they will launch a preemptive nuclear attack against our nation, since we are the only country in the world that might possibly come to Israel’s defense. This attack may be hinted at in Ezekiel 39:6 where it says that fire will fall on “those who inhabit the coastlands in safety.”

The Russian attack will probably come from submarines deployed off our East and West coasts. Each Russian sub carries more fire power than all the bombs dropped in World War II. Such an attack would give us only seven minutes warning, not even enough time to launch a counter attack.

With the U.S. immobilized, the Russians will then attack Israel and, according to Ezekiel, their army will be wiped out supernaturally by God on the hills of Israel (Ezekiel 39:1-4). The greatest power vacuum in the history of mankind will be created almost overnight. The world will be gripped by panic.

Into that vacuum will step a dynamic, charismatic European political personality who will be energized by Satan. He will begin to rally the world to his support through his brilliant proposals for world peace. The world will be mesmerized by him (Revelation 13:8).

An Objection

Some argue that since the collapse of the Soviet government, Russia is now too weak to launch any attack against Israel or the United States. But the economy of Russia has rebounded due to the nation’s vast oil reserves, and its military power is intact, including thousands of nuclear warheads!

In fact, Russia is far more dangerous to the world today than before the Soviet collapse. The increased danger is rooted in the instability of the government.

There is no hope for democracy in Russia because the societal values that are essential for the working of a democratic system do not exist. Nor is there any historical experience with democracy. Before the Commissars were the Czars.

As I predicted from the outset, the experiment with democracy did not last long. Vladimir Putin has created a new tyranny that is obsessed with territorial expansion. Putin will most likely resort to one of the oldest techniques of government — namely, stirring up trouble abroad to divert people’s attention away from their domestic problems. That foreign trouble will ultimately be the invasion of Israel.

The Parallel of Habakkuk

I admit that I do not like this speculative scenario. But it seems the most likely chain of events to me. When it first occurred to me, I was particularly repelled by the idea of God using Russia to judge our nation. I asked, “How can a holy God punish those who are evil with those who are more evil?”

My quest for an answer to that question led me to the book of Habakkuk. I discovered that Habakkuk asked God the same question when God revealed to him that Judah would be judged by an invasion of the Chaldeans.

God never answered Habakkuk’s question. He just called on Habakkuk to proceed in faith, believing that God knew best (Habakkuk 2:4). After a difficult spiritual struggle, Habakkuk stepped out in faith and said, “Lord, even if the Chaldeans completely destroy us, I will continue to exalt Your name” (Habakkuk 3:17-19).

The Chaldeans came. They destroyed the nation of Judah and the Temple of God. But where are the Chaldeans today? In the dust bin of history. Where are the Jews? Regathered to their land.

The point is that God has the wisdom and power to orchestrate the evil of Man to the triumph of His holy will in history. It is not for us to question His ways. Rather, it is for us to trust Him.

A Sobering Conclusion

But there is another point to consider. Are we really more righteous than the Russians? I think not.

In fact, I believe we are far more dangerous to the world spiritually than the Russians have ever been, for we are the world’s moral polluter through the export of our sleazy television programs, our filthy movies, our satanic music, and our degrading pornography.

We are a people who have turned our back on God. The day of judgment for us will be far more severe than for the Russians, for “to those to whom much is given, much is expected” (Luke 12:48).

Another Possibility

There is another possible fate for the United States. If the Rapture were to occur today, we would be devastated because our nation contains more born again Christians than any other nation in the world — more than all of Western Europe combined. Further, we have many born again Christians in high positions of commerce and government. The Rapture would reduce our nation to chaos, removing us from the international scene as the world’s dominant power.

We can hope and pray that this will be the destiny of our nation, because if it is not, we are headed toward outright destruction due to our rebellion against a gracious God who has blessed us more than any other nation that has ever existed.

15 “If I cause wild beasts to pass through the land, and they empty it, and make it so desolate that no man may pass through because of the beasts, 16 even though these three men were in it, as I live,” says the Lord God, “they would deliver neither sons nor daughters; only they would be delivered, and the land would be desolate.

17 “Or if I bring a sword on that land, and say, ‘Sword, go through the land,’ and I cut off man and beast from it, 18 even though these three men were in it, as I live,” says the Lord God, “they would deliver neither sons nor daughters, but only they themselves would be delivered.

19 “Or if I send a pestilence into that land and pour out My fury on it in blood, and cut off from it man and beast, 20 even though Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it, as I live,” says the Lord God, “they would deliver neither son nor daughter; they would deliver only themselves by their righteousness.”

Jeremiah 5:26-31 – The Justice of God’s Judgment

2 Chronicles 7:13-15 – God’s Second Appearance to Solomon

Let’s put this topic in perspective with two foundational Scripture passages:

The first is Psalm 33:12 which says: “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD.” Or, as it reads in Hebrew, “…whose God is Yahweh.”

The second is Proverbs 14:34 which reads: “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.”

The Nations in Prophecy

Ever since I began holding Bible prophecy conferences 38 years ago, the number one question asked during Question and Answer sessions has been, “Where is the United States in Bible prophecy?” The horrific events of September 11, 2001 intensified the importance and frequency of this question — and that is certainly understandable.

The Bible is full of prophecies about nations:

Isaiah prophesied in detail about the destinies of Assyria, Babylon, Moab, Syria, Ethiopia, Edom, Arabia, Tyre and Egypt.

Jeremiah covered the same nations, adding Philistia, Kedar, Hazor, Elam and Ammon.

Nearly all the Hebrew prophets spoke about Israel or Judah or both, and many of their prophecies concerned the fate of Jerusalem.

Daniel focused on world empires, and in the process he wrote history better in advance than most historians after the fact.

Daniel and many of the other prophets also spoke about the configuration of nations that would exist in the end times, right before the return of the Messiah. They foretold:

The resurrection of the Roman Empire in Europe.
The re-establishment of the state of Israel.
Israel besieged by surrounding Arab nations.
Israel menaced by Russia and its allies.
And nations in the Far East capable of sending an army of 200 million against the Middle East.

The United States in Bible Prophecy

So, where is the United States in Bible prophecy? How could the prophets overlook our nation?

What makes this question even more perplexing is that the signs of the times indicate we are on the threshold of the Tribulation, and we are the world’s dominant superpower! So how could the Bible fail to mention us?

The search for the United States in Bible prophecy has been extensive and intensive. It has also been very imaginative.

Isaiah 18

In the 19th Century, one of the favorite locations of the US in prophecy espoused by Bible prophecy experts was Isaiah 18. It speaks of a nation of “tall, smooth-skinned people who are feared far and wide…A powerful nation whose land is divided by waters.”

The problem with applying Isaiah 18 to the United States is that the chapter begins by specifically identifying the nation it is talking about, and that is Cush, which is the modern day nation of Sudan.

The river it is referring to is obviously the Nile. And furthermore, the whole setting of the chapter is during the Millennial reign of the Messiah.

Ezekiel 38 & 39

During the 20th Century, the most popular place to find our nation in prophecy shifted to Ezekiel 38 and 39 where the end time battle of God & Magog is described. This is a massive invasion of Israel by Russia and its allies, all of which are modern day Muslim countries.

Ezekiel 38:13 states that when the Russian invasion of Israel occurs in the end times, “the merchants of Tarshish, with all its villages,” will speak out against the invasion.

Tarshish was identified as Britain and the “villages” were identified as Britain’s English speaking colonies, including, of course, the United States.

Later in the century, the identification of Tarshish shifted to Spain. To compensate for this, the advocates of this theory simply pointed out that Columbus sailed from Spain and thus his discovery of America would make our nation one of Spain’s “villages.”

I think you should be beginning to see how desperate people have been over the years to find the United States in Bible prophecy.

Actually, the latest anthropological and metallurgical scientific evidence points rather conclusively to the island of Sardinia as the site of Tarshish. Sardinia is the second largest island in the Mediterranean, second only to Sicily. And I don’t think anyone will be so bold as to claim that our nation is one of the villages of Sardinia!

The Great Eagle

This brings us to what I consider to be the most imaginative and the silliest identification of our nation in Bible prophecy. It is found in Revelation 12:14 which states that when the Antichrist attempts to annihilate the Jews in the second half of the Tribulation, the Jews in Israel will flee “on the wings of a great eagle.”

Believe it or not, some people have seized on this imagery to teach that the United States, whose national symbol is the eagle, will supply the end time air lift that will save the Jewish remnant!

But the Bible is its own best interpreter. And when you look up the phrase, “wings of an eagle,” you will find that it is the same one that God used in Exodus 19:4 to describe how He brought the Israelites out of Egypt: “You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings, and brought you to Myself.”

The same imagery is used in Deuteronomy 32:11 where it speaks of God’s protection of Israel in the wilderness:

“Like an eagle that stirs up its nest, that hovers over its young, He [the Lord] spread His wings and caught them, He carried them on His pinions.”

In Revelation 12, God is the “eagle,” not the United States. What the passage in Revelation 12 is saying is that God is going to supernaturally protect the Jewish people when they flee from the Antichrist into Jordan in the middle of the Tribulation.

Babylon the Great

This brings us to what is today’s most popular passage for identifying our nation in Bible prophecy.

It is found in Revelation 18 which speaks of a great empire dominating the world in the end times called “Babylon the Great” that will be destroyed by God in one hour of one day.

There is no doubt that the United States shares many similarities with the corrupt commercial empire described in this chapter. The empire is described as one that is in rebellion against God, to the point that it has become “a dwelling place of demons” (verse 2). It further states that the immorality of this empire has corrupted all the nations of the world (verse 3).

It is also made clear that this “Babylon the Great” will completely dominate the world economy, and its destruction will result in the collapse of the economies of all nations. This causes the kings, merchants and shipmasters to “weep and lament” and cry out, “Woe, woe!” (verses 9,11,17).

In the present international context, it certainly sounds like the United States. But, again, the Bible is its own best interpreter, and chapter 17 of Revelation makes it clear that “Babylon the Great” is the end time world empire of the Antichrist that will be centered in Rome, not Washington, D.C.

Many Bible prophecies have a prefillment in symbolic type before they are ultimately fulfilled in reality. The destruction of the United States (whether by external or internal forces), and the impact of that destruction upon the world, could certainly constitute a symbolic prefillment of Revelation 18, but the true fulfillment will have to await the annihilation of the world empire of the Antichrist.

So, my conclusion is that the United States is not specifically mentioned in Bible prophecy. We are covered by general prophecies that relate to all nations, but beyond those, our end time destiny is not specifically mentioned.

But this conclusion raises more questions than it answers. Why aren’t we mentioned? How could the Bible be silent about us?

Possible Scenarios for a Missing America

There are several possible scenarios to explain our absence from end time Bible prophecy:

1) Terrorist Devastation

Because of our freedoms and open borders, we are a sitting duck for terrorist attacks that could fatally disrupt our society. Such attacks could take various forms — biological, chemical and electronic. They could even take the form of suitcase nuclear dirty bombs.

It is almost impossible to protect a society from suicide terrorists who are willing to sacrifice themselves for their cause.

2) External Nuclear Attack

A second possibility is either direct atomic hits or indirect ones in the form of electromagnetic pulse explosions in the atmosphere above our nation.

3) Internal Moral Rot

A third possible scenario would be an internal collapse due to moral rot which could lead to the breakdown of law and order, resulting in widespread violence.

4) An Economic Collapse

A fourth possibility is an economic collapse due to the astronomical national debt we have so recklessly built up over the past few decades.

In the first edition of my book about the United States in Bible prophecy, published in 2003, I wrote:

“The first thing that comes to mind is an economic catastrophe that will result from our out of control debt situation…There is no way to escape the conclusion that America has become a debt junkie.”

I concluded with this observation:

“I believe an unprecedented economic collapse is highly likely because money is the real god of America, and the true God of this universe is a jealous One who does not tolerate idolatry. God, by His very nature, is going to be compelled to destroy our false god.”

5) The Rapture

There is a fifth scenario that could explain our nation’s absence in end time prophecy, and it is the one I prefer and pray for. I’m thinking, of course, of the Rapture of the Church. Even though we have become a secular nation, we still have many true Christians, many of which are in powerful positions of government, industry and the military.

The Rapture would produce mass chaos in our nation on an unprecedented scale. It would undoubtedly result in martial law. Probably the only way we could survive is to reach out to Europe and ask to be included in the European Union.

So, once again, my conclusion is that the United States is not specifically mentioned in end time Bible Prophecy.

But, we are there!

We are there in prophetic type — in prophetic symbolism.

Prophetic Types

But before I reveal our prophetic type, let me take a moment to explain the meaning of a prophetic type.

A prophetic type is a symbol of a prophecy yet to be fulfilled. It prefigures a coming reality. It can be a person, an event, a ceremony, or an inanimate object.

Thus, the Greek tyrant, Antiochus Epiphanes (c. 215 BC – 164 BC) was a prophetic type of the Antichrist who will appear on the world scene in the end times.

The Old Testament sacrificial system pointed forward to the finality of the Cross.

Every aspect of the Ark of the Covenant pointed to the Messiah:

It was made of wood — pointing to the Messiah’s humanity.
It was overlaid with gold — pointing to the Messiah’s divinity.
It contained three objects:
- A pot of Manna — pointing to the fact that the Messiah would be our bread of life
- The tablets of Moses — pointing to the fact that the Messiah would keep the Law perfectly
- Aaron’s Rod that budded — pointing to the fact that the Messiah would rise from the dead.
Once a year the High Priest would enter the Holy of Holies and sprinkle blood on the lid of the Ark, signifying that the Messiah would have to die in order for the grace of God to cover the Law of God.

America’s Prophetic Type

Now, I believe America’s prophetic type is the ancient nation of Judah.

If you will remember, after the death of Solomon, the kingdom of David split into two nations — Israel and Judah.

The northern nation of Israel was apostate from the beginning. It was founded in rebellion against God and continued in that condition for 208 years until it was conquered by the Assyrians in 722 BC. During its lifetime, the nation had 19 kings, and not a single one was considered righteous in the eyes of God.

The southern nation of Judah lasted 136 years longer for a total of 344 years. Eight of its 20 kings were considered righteous by the Lord.

Consider the parallels between our nation and Judah:

They were given great leaders like Hezekiah, Jehoshaphat and Josiah, just as we have been blessed in our history with leaders like Washington, Lincoln, the Roosevelts and Reagan.
They enjoyed a degree of freedom that was unparalleled for that day and time, just as we have been blessed.
They were granted great prosperity just as we have been.
And they were favored with abundant spiritual blessings just as we have been. The Shekinah Glory of God resided in their Temple in Jerusalem. We have been blessed to be used by God to proclaim the Gospel all over the world.

I wish I could stop there with this list of positive parallels, but I cannot. That’s because we share some negative characteristics with Judah.

One is pride. Judah became proud of its blessings and the people deceived themselves into thinking they were the ones responsible for their blessings. They forgot the One who was truly responsible, just as we have.

Another negative parallel is rebellion. As Judah distanced itself from God, it began to rebel against His Word, just as we are now in the process of doing the same thing.

The result for Judah was the destruction of their nation by the Babylonians in 586 BC.

But before God poured out His wrath on the nation, he patiently called them to repentance and warned them of His impending judgment.

He did this in two ways — through prophetic voices and remedial judgments. Let’s consider the prophetic voices first.

The Sins of Judah

In about 740 BC, God anointed a sophisticated and erudite man named Isaiah to be a prophet to Judah, and the first thing He asked him to do was to search out the land and compile a spiritual inventory of the sins of the people.

God knew the sins. This was His way of acquainting Isaiah with them first hand.

Isaiah’s subsequent report was startling and heartbreaking. It clearly revealed that the people whom God had so richly blessed had turned their back on Him and His Word.

And since these are the sins that motivated God to destroy the nation, the city and the temple He loved so much, we should pay close attention to what they were. A people entrenched in sin.

Isaiah’s Report

Isaiah’s report is found in chapter 5 of his writings, and he begins in verse 7 with the sin of injustice:

“He [God] expected a crop of justice, but instead he found oppression. He expected to find righteousness, but instead he heard cries of violence.”

Next, he mentioned greed: (5:8)

“You buy up property so others have no place to live. Your homes are built on great estates so you can be alone in the midst of the earth!”

The next sin he discovered was pleasure-seeking: (5:12)

“They furnish wine and lovely music at their grand parties — lyre and harp, tambourine and flute — but they never think about the LORD or notice what He is doing.”

The fourth sin he reported was blasphemy: (5:19)

“They even mock the Holy One of Israel and dare the Lord to punish them. ‘Hurry up and punish us, O Lord,’ they say. ‘We want to see what you can do!'”

Next, Isaiah pointed to the shocking sin of moral perversion: (5:20)

“They say that what is right is wrong and what is wrong is right; that black is white and white is black; bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter.”

Isaiah lamented the sin of intellectual pride: (5:21)

“Woe to those who are wise and shrewd in their own eyes!”

Next, Isaiah identified the sin of intemperance: (5:22)

“Woe to those who are “heroes” when it comes to drinking and boast about the liquor they can hold.”

The final sin identified by Isaiah was political corruption: (5:23)

“They take bribes to pervert justice, letting the wicked go free and putting innocent men in jail.”

Isaiah concluded his list with a summary statement that identified the fundamental reason for all the sins: (5:24)

“…they have thrown away the laws of God and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.”

So, the eight sins of Judah that Isaiah reported were: Injustice, Greed, Pleasure-Seeking, Blasphemy, Moral Perversion, Intellectual Pride, Intemperance and Political Corruption. All of which he asserted were produced by contempt for the Word of God.

Isaiah also reported that all his calls to repentance were met with scoffing and frivolity (22:12-13):

“The Lord God called you to repent, to weep and mourn, to shave your heads in sorrow for your sins, and to wear clothes made of sackcloth to show your remorse. But instead, you sing and dance and play, and feast and drink. ‘Let us eat, drink, and be merry,’ you say: ‘What’s the difference, for tomorrow we die.'”

Isaiah responded to this crass indifference with a strong warning: (5:26-30)

“God will send a signal to the nations far away, whistling to those at the ends of the earth, and they will come racing toward Jerusalem…Their arrows are sharp; their bows are bent; sparks fly from their horses’ hoofs, and the wheels of their chariots spin like the wind. They roar like lions and pounce upon the prey. They seize my people and carry them off into captivity with none to rescue them.”

Jeremiah’s Report

Sixty years later, God called a young priest named Jeremiah to do the same thing he had requested of Isaiah. He asked him to go forth and make an inventory of the sins of Judah.

When he reported back to God, he listed the same sins as Isaiah, but he added three new ones.

The first was immorality. This, of course, had been hinted at in Isaiah’s accusation of moral perversion. But Jeremiah got specific: (5:7-8)

He declared that God had fed His people until they were full, but they thanked Him by “committing adultery and lining up at the brothels.” He added, “They are well-fed, lusty stallions, each neighing for his neighbor’s wife.”

The second sin Jeremiah detected was religious corruption: (5:30-31)

“A horrible and shocking thing has happened in this land — the prophets give false prophecies, and the priests rule with an iron hand. Worse yet, my people like it that way!”

The third sin he added to the growing list was closed minds: (6:10-11)

He declared the people do not listen when God speaks: “Their ears are closed, and they cannot hear. They scorn the word of the Lord. They don’t want to listen at all.”

Jeremiah then concluded with three powerful summary statements:

“Their faces are harder than rock” (5:3).
“They have a stubborn and rebellious heart” (5:23).
“They do not know how to blush” (6:15).

Jeremiah issued a called to repentance, coupled with a stern warning (6:26):

“Oh, my people, dress yourselves in burlap and sit among the ashes. Mourn and weep bitterly, as for the loss of an only son. For suddenly the destroying armies will be upon you!”

But the people of Judah were so caught up in rebellion that they refused to repent, and they scoffed at the warning, responding by shouting, “The Temple, the Temple, the Temple!” (Jeremiah 7:4).

What they meant by this taunt was that they did not believe God would ever destroy their nation and their capital city because the Shekinah Glory of God rested in their Temple.

Remedial Judgments

Meanwhile, while God was speaking through prophetic voices, calling the people to repentance and warning them of an ultimate judgment, He was simultaneously inflicting the nation with remedial judgments.

These are judgments designed to humble people and motivate them to think with an eternal perspective.

Before they entered the Promised Land, God had warned them through Moses that if they were not faithful to His commandments, they would suffer remedial judgments to call them to repentance. These judgments are listed in detail in Deuteronomy 28, and they include such things as crop failures, rebellion of teenagers, an epidemic of divorce, rampant disease, confusing government policies, defeats by enemies, foreign domination and the ultimate judgment — exile from the land.

But the people of Judah were set in their sins, and Jeremiah therefore declared that their “wound was incurable” (Jeremiah 10:19).

The result was the Babylonian conquest of the nation and its capital in 586 BC, resulting in most of the people being carried away into captivity.

God in His mercy allowed them to return 70 years later, but during the next 400 years, they persisted in their sins, and so, in 70 AD, God allowed them to be conquered by the Romans and dispersed worldwide, just as He had warned.

This sordid history of a richly blessed people rebelling against their God who had blessed them so overwhelmingly is summed up in two very sad verses in which you can almost hear the Lord weeping (2 Chronicles 36:15-16):

15) And the Lord, the God of their fathers, sent word to them again and again by His messengers, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place;

16) but they continually mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the Lord rose against His people, until there was no remedy.

How God Deals With A Rebellious Nation

From this history of Judah, we can draw some conclusions about how God deals with a rebellious nation which He has so richly blessed.

1) He raises up prophetic voices to call the nation to repentance. And, if there is no repentance,

2) He places remedial judgments upon the nation.

3) If the nation repents, He forgives and blesses. But if there is no repentance,

4) God destroys the nation when its rebellion becomes entrenched, reaching a point of no return.

This point of no return occurs when “the wound becomes incurable.” Nahum declared that Nineveh had “an incurable wound” (Nahum 3:19). Jeremiah used the same terminology with reference to Judah (Jeremiah 30:12).

Jeremiah was even told to stop praying for Judah (Jeremiah 7:16). Ezekiel was told the same thing, but in even stronger terms. Ezekiel was told that if the most righteous men who have ever lived — Noah, Daniel and Job — were to intervene for Judah, it would be of no avail, except for themselves and their families, because the nation had reached the point of no return and was going to be destroyed (Ezekiel 14:12-21).

All of which reminds me of the words of the prophet Nahum (Nahum 1:2-3):

A jealous and avenging God is the Lord;
The Lord is avenging and wrathful.
The Lord takes vengeance on His adversaries,
And He reserves wrath for His enemies.
The Lord is slow to anger and great in power,
And the Lord will by no means leave the guilty unpunished.

Application to the United States

Now, let’s apply these principles to the United States.

As I pointed out before, I believe God raised up this nation with the purpose of using our great natural resources and technical ingenuity to spread the Gospel all over the world.

As we fulfilled His purpose, He poured out blessings upon us — blessings like unparalleled freedom and prosperity and immense power, worldwide influence and — the greatest blessing of all — sharing the Gospel with the world. He even gave us the blessing of serving as the key nation in the re-birthing and nurturing of the nation of Israel.

But we became enamored with our wealth and power, and we began turning our back on God.

The Almighty Dollar became our god.
Greed became our motivator.
Gambling became a national pastime.
Sex became our obsession.
We became the world’s largest consumer of illegal drugs.
We kicked God out of our schools.
We legalized abortion.
We endorsed moral perversion.
And we became the moral polluter of planet earth through our violent, immoral and blasphemous movies and television programs.

God’s Response

As we wallowed in the sexual revolution of the 1960’s, God began raising up prophetic voices like Dave Wilkerson, calling this nation to repentance.

And in the years since that time, he has raised up many more prophetic voices, 13 of which I identify in my book, God’s Prophetic Voices to America.

When we refused to repent, the remedial judgments began to fall. (And let me just pause to say that I do not believe that all calamities are remedial judgments. Most are simply products of natural forces. A true remedial judgment can be determined by its magnitude or its timing or both.) Considering those factors, I believe that some of the remedial judgments we have experienced in recent years are:

The Vietnam War

This war occurred on the heels of the sexual revolution of the 1960s.

The 9/11 Attacks (2001)

God allowed the terrorists to be successful in attacking the two symbols of our pride: The Twin Towers in New York which represented our wealth, and the Pentagon in Washington, DC which represented our power.

Hurricane Katrina (2005)

Undoubtedly God’s response to our immorality and our forcing Israel to abandon the Gaza Strip. The storm formed suddenly in the Gulf on the last day of the Gaza Strip withdrawal and hit New Orleans just as it was getting ready to host its annual homosexual festival.

The Sept 2008 Stock Market Crash

Again, a response to our attempts to strong arm Israel into surrendering its heartland. It occurred on the eve of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, and the market fell by 777 points — indicating the signature of God.

The Type of Leaders We Deserve

It is no accident that President Obama was the most pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, anti-Capitalist, anti-Israel leader in the entire history of our nation. The man who promised us hope proceeded to destroy that hope with his myriad of ungodly programs and actions.

The Parallels

Let’s consider the parallels once again between Judah and the United States: Ancient Judah was blessed with great leaders, freedom, prosperity and spiritual blessings — all of which we have enjoyed.

But, like Judah, we have drifted into pride and rebellion. And as with ancient Judah, God has responded with prophetic warnings and remedial judgments. We are now courting His Destruction.

A Crucial Question

This brings us to a very important question: Why should the United States be treated any differently? The answer, of course, is that God is not treating us any differently. He has raised up prophetic voices to call us to repentance, and He has sent remedial judgments. And our response has been one of patriotism, when the needed response is repentance.

The 9/11 Attacks

After 9/11 my wife noticed an explosion of bumper stickers saying, “God Bless America!” One day she turned to me and said, “Those bumper stickers are wrong, because God has already blessed America.”

So, she designed what she considered to be a more appropriate sticker: “America Bless God!”

The 9/11 attacks were a wake-up call for our nation. But instead of awakening to the need for repentance, we reacted like a sleepy man who hits the snooze button on his alarm clock, rolls over, and goes back to sleep.

And so, our society has continued to slouch toward Gomorrah.

The Decay of Society

Let me take a moment to emphasize to you how serious the decay of our society has become. Only a person my age can appreciate how radically and how quickly our society has disintegrated.

I was born in 1938 when autos still had running boards and gasoline was 20 cents a gallon.

When I was born…

Abortionists were sent to prison.
Pregnancy out of wedlock was thought of as scandalous.
Homosexuality was considered unnatural and immoral.
Pornography was despised as a perversion.
Drugs were something you bought at a drug store.
Marriage was sacred.
Living together was taboo.
Divorce was a disgrace.
Same-sex marriage was beyond even the wildest and most depraved imagination.
Homemaking was honored, and day care was provided by mothers in their homes. Child abuse was almost unheard of.
Ladies did not curse or smoke.
The word, ”Damn,” was considered flagrant language in a movie.

The first major motion picture to use a curse word was Gone with the Wind in 1939. The movie ended with the phrase, “Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn.” In 2013 a film called The Wolf of Wall Street, starring Leonardo de Caprio, had the “f-word” in it 544 times in 180 minutes!

In 1997, the veteran television star, Steve Allen, denounced the growing filth contained in movies and television programs by saying, “We have become a society where vulgarians entertain barbarians.” And that was 20 years ago!

A Temporary Respite

It is true that in His grace and mercy, God has given us a temporary respite — a window of grace through the miraculous election of Donald Trump in 2016.

Incidentally, I believe the crucial factor in producing that miracle was Franklin Graham’s prayer crusade that he took to every state capital in our nation. At each stop, he began his presentation with the same words:

“I have no hope in the Democratic Party, and I have no hope in the Republican Party. Zero hope. Our only hope is God.” And he proceeded to call our nation to prayer and repentance.

I think it is very interesting that back in 1980 when Ronald Reagan was elected, Francis Shaeffer, one of God’s prophetic voices to America, also referred to Reagan’s election as a “window of grace” from God, and it was. But as soon as his term ended in 1989, our society took up where it had left off in its rejection of Judeo-Christian values and proceeded with its downward spiral into the secular, pagan pit of Humanism.

President Trump is doing a lot of things right while he continues to proclaim that he is going to “Make America Great Again.”

But don’t count on it. No one can make our nation great again as long as we continue in our outright rebellion against God and His Word.

Our nation, like Judah, has gone too far in its rejection of God. I believe we have reached the point where our wound has become incurable. The election of Trump is not a portent of our future. And I can prove that with three brutal facts.

After eight years of the most ungodly administration in American history:

1) President Obama left office with a 60% approval rating.

2) His designated heir, Hillary Clinton, received 3 million more votes than Trump.

3) And our nation’s future — the Millennials (18 to 29 year olds) — supported an out-and-out Socialist, and when he failed to get the nomination, they voted overwhelmingly for Clinton.

The Most Brutal Reality

But more important than these three facts is the ignorance of God’s Word that has come to characterize both our nation and professing Christians. This ignorance is reflected in the latest polls conducted by the Barna Association which show that only 9% of Americans are Bible-believing Christians! And even more shocking, only 17% of professing Christians are truly Bible-believing Christians!

And what determines a Bible-believing Christian? Answers to the following six questions:

1) Does absolute moral truth exist?

2) Is the Bible totally accurate in all of the principles it teaches?

3) Is Satan a real being and not simply a symbolic force?

4) Can people earn their way into Heaven by doing good works?

5) Did Jesus live a sinless life?

6) Is God the all-knowing, all-powerful creator of the world who still rules the universe today?

Again, only 9% of Americans can answer these questions biblically, and only 17% of professing Christians can do so. Is it any wonder that a recent national poll by the George Barna’s American Culture and Faith Institute revealed that:

77% of Americans believe divorce is acceptable.
71% believe sexual intercourse between unmarried adults is acceptable.
69% believe having a baby out of marriage is acceptable.
58% believe viewing pornography is acceptable.

Or, consider what public opinion polls are showing regarding same-sex marriage: acceptance of the abomination of same-sex marriage has increased rapidly from 37% in 2007 to 62% in 2018. The acceptance among white Evangelicals has increased from 14% in 2007 to 35% in 2018.

The latest poll in 2018 shows that Alabama is the only state in the Union where a majority of people oppose same-sex marriage!

Our nation needs to wake-up to the fact that legalizing an abomination does not make it moral. Here’s how one organization has put it:

The Triumph of Humanism

My friends, we need to face up to the fact that we have lost the culture war. Humanism has triumphed. We are now a nation begging God to deliver us from judgment to destruction.

If President Trump is succeeded by another liberal ideological person like Obama or Bernie Sanders, supported by a liberal Congress, the turn around will be swift and breathtaking.

All of Trump’s executive orders will be reversed overnight.
The 2nd Amendment will come under concerted attack.
Abortion will be promoted.
Hate speech legislation will be broadened to prevent people speaking out against the Sexual Perversion Movement.
Israel will be abandoned.
Expressions of Christianity will be confined to church buildings.

People say, “But the Supreme Court will stand as a wall of protection against the tide of paganism and secularism.” My response is, “Don’t count on it.”

Our constitution does not specify the number of judges on the Supreme Court. This is determined by Congress. A radical President with a supporting Congress can undercut the Court by passing legislation to increase the members from 9 to 11 and to allow for additional appointments for each judge who stays on the court beyond the age of 70.

Yes, FDR tried this in 1937 when he was at the height of his popularity and failed. But what most people forget or don’t know is that after originally determining in 1789 that the Supreme Court would have six justices, the Congress has changed the size of the Court five times by either increasing or decreasing the number of justices — each time for political reasons.

The Warning of Romans Chapter 1

Romans chapter 1 makes it crystal clear that the fate of our nation is sealed. It says that the wrath of God is called down from Heaven by: ungodliness, unrighteousness, suppression of the truth, and worship of the creation rather than the Creator.

Well, that’s exactly where we are in our nation’s history.

We are practicing ungodliness as we kick God out of our schools and all aspects of our public life.
We are practicing unrighteousness in our daily murder of babies.
We are suppressing the truth of the origin of the universe and of life.
We are worshiping the Creation rather than the Creator.

Romans 1 says that God responds to this kind of rebellion against Him and His Word by stepping back and lowering the nation’s hedge of protection, allowing evil to multiply. And the results are:

1) A sexual revolution — which occurred in our nation in the 1960s (verses 24-25).

2) A plague of homosexuality — which followed in the 1980s and 90s (verses 26-27).

3) The society being delivered over to a depraved mind — which is where we are today (verses 28-32).

What else but depravity of mind could explain our nation’s celebration over the Supreme Court’s decision to legalized same-sex marriage? As we celebrated, God must have wept. Especially so when our President had the audacity to lite up the White House in the colors of the Sexual Perversion Movement. What a depraved and sordid spectacle that was!

I have no doubt that we signed our nation’s death warrant on June 26, 2015 when our Supreme Court rendered its despicable, ungodly decision.

Nor are we alone. Europe has rejected Christianity, and Christians are being persecuted and slaughtered worldwide. Our world is a ticking time bomb. And one of the tragedies is that the average person is just going about his normal business as if nothing is wrong, oblivious to the fact that the wrath of God is about to be poured out.

Our Hope

Is there any hope for our nation? I do not believe so. But we should not despair for several reasons.

First, what we are experiencing is a fulfillment of end time prophecy. The biblical prophets, including Jesus Himself, all prophesied that in the end times society would disintegrate into violence and immorality — that it would become as evil as in the days of Noah, and that people would go about their business as if everything was normal.

That is exactly where we are today. And thus, we are witnesses to the very signs that are heralding the soon return of Jesus.

This is why the great pastor, Adrian Rogers, once said, “The world is growing gloriously dark.” Or, as Jan Markell likes to put it: “The world is not falling to pieces; rather, the pieces are all falling into place.”

The second reason we should not despair is because there is individual hope. For those of us who are believers. God has promised that He will never forsake us.

A third reason we should not despair is because of what God is doing in Heaven right now. The Bible says in Psalm 2 that while all the political leaders of the world conspire against Him, His Word and His Son, our Creator sits on His throne and laughs. He is not laughing because He does not care. Oh no! He is laughing because He has the wisdom and power to orchestrate all the evil of mankind and Satan to the triumph of His will in history.

And don’t forget, we have a fourth reason for hope. We have the incredible hope of the Rapture.

There is also hope for unbelievers. As Robert Jeffress likes to point out:

When the darkness deepens, the light of Jesus will shine more brightly, like a diamond on a black cloth, and more and more people will be drawn to Jesus and be saved.

Meanwhile, as the darkness deepens, those of us who are believers must serve as salt and light, standing for God and His Word and refusing to give in to the demands of a pagan society, regardless of the cost.

We must be beacons of hope, pointing people to the God of hope while urging them to put their hope in their only Hope — Jesus, the Son of God and the soon returning King of kings and Lord of lords.

What Is Satan's Five-Part Plan to Destroy America? :: By Nathan Jones

Our nation is under attack! Jarring social changes and frightening geopolitical events pummel our sensibilities like waves endlessly breaking upon the shore. Life’s been getting a whole lot crazier with each passing year. And now, an election season fraught with epic consequences is bearing down upon us all.

What exactly is going on behind the scenes that’s causing so much confusion?

Satan has a five-part plan to disrupt and destroy the United States of America and other Western societies. Allen Parr of Allen Parr Ministries and host of the hit YouTube channel The BEAT joined me on Prophetic Perspectives to reveal Satan’s insidious plan.

#1 – Breaking Down Families

The breaking down of families isn’t something necessarily new, but currently, there are a whole lot of woke organizations out there that have been fighting for evil under the banners of feminist rights and many other anti-family positions. Clearly, a war on the traditional nuclear family is being waged. As a result, divorce rates climb ever higher, even among Christians. We have more and more people giving up on their marriages. The Enemy knows that people are stronger together than apart, so Satan has made a concerted effort to tear apart the foundational structure of our society — the nuclear family.

Jesus in Matthew 19:1-10 reiterates what was written in Malachi 2:16, “For the Lord God of Israel says that He hates divorce, for it covers one’s garment with violence.” Satan absolutely hates the nuclear family because the family establishes the very foundation for a just and godly society.

As the family goes, so society goes. The Enemy knows this truth, and so he creates conflict and discord within the home for the purpose of causing families to break up. Divorce creates a significantly negative effect on children of broken homes, often causing young adults to prefer to just live together in sin or wait to get married much later in life, sometimes well past their child-rearing years.

If Satan can split children off from a nurturing family structure, then they become far more vulnerable to temptation. That’s the number one tactic in Satan’s strategy to destroy the foundations of a nation.

#2 – Abortion

If you cannot break a family, then eliminate it before it ever begins. Americans have aborted 63 million babies since 1973 when the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision legalized abortion. China has aborted 300 million babies in that time! Even with the overturning of Roe v. Wade, the death toll due to abortion in the US and across the globe is both shocking and genocidal.

God abhors abortion! Let’s call abortion what it truly is — murder. God in Exodus 20:13 commands, “you shalt not murder,” which is the Sixth Commandment.

The Enemy has been trying to normalize murder through abortion. Same as the homosexual agenda, Satan has been working to minimize this sin as not being a big deal. He’ll cloak murder under the auspices of a women’s right to choose or that an unborn baby isn’t really life yet, so abortion isn’t really murder. Satan works to place doubts in people’s minds to desensitize them to what is really happening, which when it comes to abortion, is most definitely murder in God’s eyes.

#3 – Confusion Over Sexual Identity

The third tactic Satan has been using to attack our nation, especially targeting the newest generation, is by causing great confusion over one’s gender and sexual identity. It seems like now, more than ever, our youth have become terribly confused about something as simple as their own gender.

In interviews on college campuses, when students are asked how many genders there are, some amazingly respond with “infinite,” and some just make up numbers because they simply have no idea. Job applications are offering the choices of “Male,” “Female,” and “Other.” Gender is also being removed from birth certificates. The Enemy is doing a job on our youth by getting them confused over the biological identity to which they were born.

And yet, the Bible declares there are only two genders. Genesis 1:27 states, “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” This verse clearly does not say “male, female, fluid, and so on” It states that God created two genders and only two genders.

Not only has confusion over gender and sexual identity been running rampant, but gargantuan efforts have been made to create sexual preference confusion as well. The LGBTQ+ agenda is being pushed on almost every television program that is available to watch. It’s blatantly obvious that the Media is strenuously attempting to normalize the homosexual agenda with regular characters that are same-sex couples or by extolling characters who are inclined to be same-sex attracted. “Family friendly” entertainment companies such as Disney and, shockingly, even some of our public school teachers work hard to normalize sexuality, even as young as the tender elementary ages.

We are watching in horror as the Enemy weaves into the fabric of our country the normalization of extra-marital sexuality, which is something God has clearly defined as sin (Lev. 18:22; 20:13; Rom. 1:24-27; 1 Cor. 6:9-10; 1 Tim. 1:9-10). In his insidious effort, Satan has particularly been targeting the minds of our newest generation to lead them into bondage to lust and confusion and so separate them from their Creator’s good and perfect will.

#4 – Emotional Disorders

We are living in a time when many kids suffer from low self-esteem, depression, and anxiety. Children are being prescribed massive amounts of medication to deal with these emotional conditions.

And yet, our Lord Jesus says in John 10:10, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” Our Creator cherishes each and every one of His creations made in His image, but Satan steals their identity away from them with Evolution and other Humanist philosophies. This tragically has resulted in a generation that sees life as pointless and concludes that its existence is meaningless.

#5 – Division

The last component of Satan’s five-part plan to destroy America involves tribalism. The Enemy attacks our nation by fomenting division. Americans are so divided right now! You cannot go on social media and have a discussion without endless arguing and strife. Social media has become one of the main tools in Satan’s insidious work toward sowing discord and division throughout our society.

Three different ways Satan causes division: race, politics, and denominationalism. Obviously, there has been a whole lot of racial tension in our country, especially since the Floyd police incident and the subsequent riots of 2020. The Enemy has been using Critical Race Theory and Intersectionality to sow discord and divide people along ethnic lines.

Politics, especially in an election year, are always divisive. Christians are called to vote for biblical values, which often puts them at odds with family and friends. Each side of the political aisle acts as if their vote determines the eternal existence of the nation, and whose hype creates even greater discord and division.

Denominations are also well known for arguing and fussing over various doctrines and other ecclesiastical subjects instead of keeping the focus on Jesus Christ and the primary doctrines. Sadly, Christians don’t often get along very well with each other. It’s rather a sad blight on the Church. Christians should all be on the same team, and yet we’ve long been letting denominationalism break us apart. Christians don’t even realize that denominationalism is being used as a tool of the Devil to create discord within the Church.

These five key tactics are employed by Satan to wreak havoc for the purpose of eventually destroying our society. Now that we know what Satan’s five-part plan is, we can counter it. Christians remain called to continue to be “salt and light” in this fallen world. We stand for righteousness in an increasingly dark era. And, as we wait for the return of Jesus Christ, we continue to share the Gospel, all the way up until the King of Kings’ glorious return to conquer Satan and his minions of evil.

Americans have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem.
Americans have abused power and called it politics.
Americans have committed idolatry and called it entertainment.
Americans have bowed in idolatrous worship of graven images (The Blessed Virgin Mary), calling it truth.
Americans have ignored criminal insider trading by Congress, calling it soft corruption.
Americans have stolen from each other and called it business.
Americans have coveted their neighbor's possessions and called it ambition.
Americans have polluted the air with profanity and called it free speech.
Americans have produced and indulged in pornography and called it freedom of expression.
Americans have denied the inspiration of the Bible and called it scholarship.

Hello, folks; I must say extraordinary events have taken place in the last few years – events that make pages jump right out of the Bible.

It is sometimes hard to believe that we Americans have killed over 61 million babies in the womb since Roe v. Wade, all because one or two people think it is alright to do so. They believe that they can kill a life that they needed another person to help produce just because it’s in their body. We just go on with life and justify the murder of innocent children whose souls are important to God. It’s easier to have an abortion than go to a car wash to have your car cleaned. And in our minds, we think it is ok with God. We Christians go to church to praise Jesus, while across the street, babies are being aborted. Our minds have been conditioned to look the other way. It’s like taking the garbage out. Folks, God is not looking the other way. And the irony of this is it’s just as many Christians killing babies as non-Christians.

The churches today are so ineffective that it’s a waste of time even going to church. The preachers are as clueless as our politicians are at running the country. We have allowed so much evil to take over that we cannot keep count. Our administration is the evilest ever in America; no holds barred. They are doing whatever they want to folks all over the land just for power and glory. We now have an administration that doesn’t care for innocent lives any more than Hitler did.

Our president and his cohorts are turning America into an embarrassment to the world. He has shown that he loves our enemies and will appease them, even giving our enemies the tools to kill us. He has sacrificed our service men and women and folks who were helping the country to protect the world from our enemies. Should you be surprised? He cares nothing for the unborn; why should he care for the living?

Folks, I hear the media, both good and bad, saying that the administration was incompetent in allowing the Taliban to take over Afghanistan and enabling them to have our weapons. It was not an accident; it was done with a purpose in mind to weaken America. The administration hates America just as much as our enemies hate this country.

This past election was contrived to ensure that the most wicked people would take over. They used a sick man like Biden to get it done; this man does not know what he is doing, just what he is told to say and do. It is sickening to watch him speak to the people when you know it is not him; the folks behind him are directing his moves. Yes, he may agree with all this, but he is not the one in charge. So, folks, don’t think this was done by incompetence; it was done by people wanting to destroy this country. They know precisely what they are doing – from the schools to the media to the government – any way that they can control you.

A preacher’s job is to alert Christians of Satan’s tricks and to assure us that God is in control. But all many do is let you know that Satan is in control of their church or ministry. They go along with the evil; after all, they want power and glory themselves. Satan will promise you money, fame, and comforts, anything to get you to fall for the bait.

As I wrote in my last article, just look at the everyday folks walking the streets and take note of their actions. They are consumed in their private world, and they must look at their most important tool, their smartphones. It is like a drug. I ought to know; I’m also distracted with my cell phone.

Satan will grant you anything you want as long as you give your soul to him. You will be his without any effort to fight him because he uses the comforts of life to get you in his fold.

It’s hard to believe that we as a people have bought into the biggest lie in history, or have we? We look back on history and see the evil that has gone on. Would you have thought that we are doing to America just as Hitler did to Germany, as Stalin did to Russia, and Kim Jong-un is doing to North Korea? Is this possible that now in America, we are on the brink of total Socialism? America, the light of freedom, is now fallen to evil people. We allowed the election of Donald Trump to be stolen, and we just sat there and took it. They used all kinds of lies to convince you that it was the right thing to do. Remember, folks; this did not happen overnight; it took years for the Left to enact their evil deeds.

If they could convince you that abortion is good, as well as taking God out of the schools and the public arena, then all else would be simple. All they had to do was take over your personal life with things to get you to look the other way. They had to condition your mind and weaken you, and they started with the children in the schools. Those same children who were in our schools and universities decades ago are the same ones running our country with their twisted ideas of life. They were slowly but articulately taught to hate God and moral values. They were led to hate the unborn.

Christians in the church were duped in the same manner. They were duped by longwinded pastors saying nothing. They gave you feel-good sermons instead. I’m not talking about obviously phony pastors; I’m talking about the ones that know better. They are the ones that must answer to God for not telling the whole truth.

But let us be real; God has given each man and woman the word of God in their hearts. It’s Satan that takes it out of you through lies and deceit. He knows the Bible too, and without faith in God first, you won’t understand the Bible. There are folks in this world that don’t have a Bible, but they know more about God than many do. They may have never been to a church, but they know God because they have faith.

Going to church is good so that you can be around likewise folks to help you keep your strength, but many today can’t find a Bible-believing church to go to. God does not need a church building to get you to know him; he just needs a willing soul to have no fear and trust him.

Many churches today are deceiving; they will perform magic tricks to keep you coming for more. Their so-called preachers will act like rock stars on the stage, walk back and forth with their fancy clothing, and talk as if they know more about the Bible than you do. And many people are mesmerized because these charlatans live like the rich and famous. They have fancy cars, planes, and diamond rings, and they tell you this is what God wants for all of you. That’s the bait that Satan will give you for your soul. God did not say that everyone would be rich and prosperous, but you can be rich in peace and love in whatever you have.

Unfortunately, we have a group of folks that want to destroy anything that is good. They want to remove anything that has morals and anyone that believes in God. America was a nation that was built on God’s morals and values, and it will not be America without putting God first. God created this nation to show you his goodness and to show you what freedom really looks like. That is why folks flock to this country to know freedom, to achieve whatever they want to do. But now, the liberals flood the nation with folks and give them stuff to get their vote; they do this to keep themselves in power. They bait people for their cooperation. They also want them to take away American jobs so that it can weaken the economy.

The liberals and even so-called conservatives are pushing this pandemic to limits never seen before in history. You must get the vaccine – not one shot, but two shots and even a booster. You must wear a mask and stand 6 feet from your neighbor, and we have been convinced of the ridiculous as logical. All other diseases are not even mentioned anymore, just Covid and the vaccine, as if you don’t die from anything other than Covid.

I will paraphrase a quote that has been misattributed to Hitler or other evil leaders, but it rings of truth: “If you tell a lie long enough and strong enough, folks will start to believe in the lie.” America has bought the lie. I see Christians, conservatives, and just plain old folks believing the lie. People will boast that they have gotten the shot as if it is safe and a surefire protection for them; they believe whatever they are told by those in power, including the liberal-left media. Conservative media sites don’t show up on online searches unless you type in the name of the site. Only the liberal-left sites show up.

And men are not standing up. We now look to the women to fight our battles; righteous women are doing the fight for us. God will have to use them, but in the end, it will fail because he is showing the men that they must stand up. I support women to fight the good fight, but they can only go so far without the men to stand up. Men will say, let us follow the women and allow them to lead us. And God will allow that to happen, all because we forgot the order: God over Christ, Christ over men, men over women, and women over children. It is clearly not in that order any longer. And while mothers are in the workplace, the children are left in the care of whomever.

With all the madness going on, we forgot to look at one tiny country: Israel. While we are looking the other way, Satan is getting closer to destroying Israel. Folks, that is Satan’s number one focus. His plan has long been to destroy the people that brought our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Satan hates the Jews as much as all the surrounding countries hate them. And now America has abandoned them.

We are so focused on America, Afghanistan, Russia, China, Pakistan, and all the other countries. But the Jews, through God, brought us Jesus. The Jews, through God, brought us the Bible. The Jews brought us so much technology and are some of the most intelligent and innovative people on the planet. They took a desert country and turned it into a flurrying oasis despite their most hated enemies. People hate them because they are Jews and for no other reason. The country is so tiny, yet it can hold back its enemies and still function as a great power in the world. And it has some of the greatest weapons to keep it safe. This is a country where Jesus walked and preached to the people.

All eyes are looking elsewhere, but I assure you that the enemies (the Taliban, China, Russia, etc.) are looking to destroy Israel. And your president, Joe Biden, along with his administration, gave them carte blanch to do so.

All that is going on is smoke and mirrors to take our attention away from their real agenda. And with America weakened, Israel has no more friends to assist with defending it; Israel now stands alone. Donald Trump was the only president to fully support Israel; no other person or president has even come close, and this is why both parties hate him. He was sent by God to put to light the evil going on. One other man of strength has been ousted: Benjamin Netanyahu, prime minister of Israel, another strong leader removed to weaken Israel further. And now, with its new weak leaders, who knows what will happen in this tiny country.

Folks, we need to keep our eyes on Israel. God said not to mess with the land of Israel, and that includes America. By supplying the enemies with our modern weapons, we will be responsible if any harm comes to the land of Israel and its people.

Biden deciding to leave Afghanistan in the dark of night without making sure his people were safe should tell you everything you need to know about him and his administration. How do we as a country justify leaving Americans behind in the hands of terrorists? How does a general in charge just get on a plane as the last soldier and leave the American people he is sworn to protect? Why did he not stay until every last person was safe and out of the country? This is not a soldier but a coward. Would General George Patton or General Douglas MacArthur do such a thing? Better still, if their sons or daughters were behind enemy lines, would they not make sure they made it out safely?

The evil from the Left is beyond imagination, but they hate both God and this country. Satan is controlling them in all their actions. Folks, it’s all spiritual; we are either influenced by God or influenced by Satan; there is no in-between.

People are making blatantly sinful choices. They know that abortion is killing a child. There is no justification for this act. Texas passed a law saying that if there is a heartbeat, you cannot have an abortion. Any person that loves God or is a person of logic knows that is a good law. But if the Biden administration can leave Americans in harm’s way in the Middle East, do you think an unborn baby is essential to them?

Evil has shown its ugly head, and it is not stopping unless we stand up to it. We Christians have said nothing for so long that now we do not know how even to put up a fight. We just complain and go back to our comforts.

Americans, we have a decision to make; we either put up a fight against this administration and evil or succumb to it. God will protect those who trust him, even in our pain. In the end, evil will not prevail. It will be defeated, but how many folks will go down with the evil?

God will not blindside you as Biden did. He will give you plenty of warnings, and there will be no excuse on your part. You may even be warned through your husband, wife, friend, daughter, son, or pastor. You must have faith in God and his Son Jesus; no one else can save you.

Very soon, we are going to see God in action to defend the righteous. He did not send his Son Jesus for anything. He sent him for everything.

Folks, please keep your eyes on Israel; that is where it all began, and that is where it will all end.

God is in control, and I will keep my comfort in believing that.

You know time is running out on the false reality in which most Americans live when the corporate-owned mainstream media starts to report some of the things that we in the alternative media have been reporting for years.

I’ve been warning since 2018: America is heading toward civil war. For the last six months or so many of us have been warning about the creaky supply chain.

That chain is getting ready to buckle and break like a water pipe in the dead of winter, when frigid air sneaks in from the north.

It usually happens in the middle of the night, while everyone is sleeping in their warm beds. Under the stress of steadily dropping temperatures, the pipe starts to expand. Now compromised, the pipe starts to drip, then suddenly it pops. Water gushes out and into the house.

At that point, you have a big mess on your hands. If only you’d seen the cold weather coming, you would have wrapped your pipes and protected them from the damage.

That’s how I see the U.S. supply chain right now. The pressure is building while the façade of normalcy reigns in the lives of 90 percent of American families. As they sleepwalk through life, they have no idea what kind of pressure is building on those pipes that keep money flowing throughout the global economy.

But when the dishonest mainstream media starts to take notice and give gentle, half-hearted warnings, you know the breaking point is near.

Take, for example, the article that appeared in the Jan. 15 issue of the Detroit News. In a story headlined Michigan faces acute impact from Canada’s refusal to let in unvaccinated U.S. truckers, we are given a small glimpse of the truth – the engine that drives the American economy, truckers, are about to be dealt a devastating blow by the socialist government in charge of Canada.

One key word in that headline jumped out at me – “impact.”

I reported last week on the many dreams and visions being reported from spiritually discerning Christians in diverse areas. They don’t know each other, they’re from all different backgrounds, but they all talk of having similar dreams warning believers to “brace yourself for impact.”

Since hearing of these dreams, I’ve been noticing that word, impact, showing up all over the place. And in this Detroit News article we’re told of a looming “acute impact.”

If you just go by the headline, you might get the impression that it’s just Michigan that will suffer the impact of this vaccine mandate on truckers.

Don’t be fooled. Statistics show otherwise. More than 50 percent of truckers are unvaxxed and 37 percent in a survey by the American Trucking Associations said they will never get the injection and will quit their jobs if forced to do so by their employers.

You have to read more than halfway into the article before you get to this bombshell quote from Brian Hitchcock, chairman of the Michigan Trucking Association.

“It’s definitely going to have an impact [there’s that word again]. And it’s going to start as early as tomorrow, and it’s going to create a supply shortage of everything back and forth.”

Soon, “shipping will be disrupted in both directions,” the article explains.

If this were the only challenge to the U.S. supply chain, we might be able to deal with it.

But it’s not.

The other big force driving a wedge into the U.S. supply chain is China.

The Chinese are deliberately closing ports that send goods to the U.S., Canada and Europe.

As part of its “Covid-zero” policy, China is locking down its ports, meaning the many products that America has come to depend on China to supply will not be found on store shelves in the weeks and months ahead.

Thanks to globalization, the U.S. is no longer a self-sustaining country. Many critically important products, such as life-saving antibiotics, are shipped into the U.S. from China. It would take months, perhaps years for the U.S. to gear up industries capable of churning out these items in bulk.

According to Bloomberg, another mainstream publisher, the effects of restrictions in China “are starting to hit supply chains in the region.” As a result of the slow movement of goods through some of the China’s busiest and most important ports, shippers are now diverting to Shanghai, causing the types of delays at the world’s biggest container port that led to massive congestion bottlenecks last summer. That eventually translated into a record number of container ships waiting off the coast of California, a glut that hasn’t been cleared to this day.

With sailing schedules already facing delays of about a week, freight forwarders warn of the impact on already backlogged gateways in Europe and the U.S. and that is also why economists are warning that the world economy could be headed for the “mother of all supply chain shocks” if China continues to lock down its ports.

Brace for impact. Acute impact.

We are about to experience severe deprivation like never before. And it won’t be just food stores. Auto parts from Canada will make car fixes more difficult. Pharmaceuticals, electronics, apparel and just about everything we buy at Walmart comes from China. Imagine the impact if China makes its long awaited military move on Taiwan, where the vast majority of the world’s computer chips are manufactured.

The mainstream corporate news outlets can’t see the bigger picture, or maybe they do but are afraid if they report it the sleeping American populous might get even more rattled and restless than they already are. But when you see articles like the one Saturday in the Detroit News and Friday in Bloomberg, you know even they are getting nervous. They have to be wondering if maybe those “conspiracy theorists” were right all along. But their controllers in the corporate boardrooms won’t let them get to the bottom of the conspiracy, to report the whole truth to their readers.

If they could, they would know that what we’re looking at with these vaccine mandates and port shutdowns, all blamed on a virus that is 99 percent survivable, is part of a plan for the controlled demolition of America and the West. It’s all designed to happen by very powerful entities that operate at a level above our elected political leaders. The decisions that are leading to the collapse are being made by those buying into Klaus Schwab’s vision as put forth by the World Economic Forum and allied entities such as the United Nations, the Gates, Rockefeller, Soros and Ford foundations, and the corporate power elites on the interlocking boards of directors at Blackrock, Vanguard, State Street and Fidelity. Those four financial investment houses own a controlling share of almost every one of the world’s largest corporations, including the largest banks. And they have decided it’s time to blow up the system and start over with something new. Something very different. They call it the Great Reset. I call it technocracy.

They want to reset the global economy and the global social structure — the way we live, work, eat and move about in society. They have a plan for all of this and it won’t resemble anything we are used to, anymore than the New Normal under Covid resembled what we were used to.

They want an economy based on a new digital, programmable currency and a social structure based on their Luciferian values.

That means the present capitalist economic system, based on the U.S. dollar, must be trashed before they can “build back better” with the new money system and a new technocracy based on social credit and a new “more equitable” form of “inclusive capitalism,” which has nothing in common with actual capitalism.

This system involves decoupling the middle class from their property. Almost all private property in the new system, if it is successfully implemented, will be owned by the 1 percent of elites and we will rent from them.

Those who dissent from the prevailing government-media narrative will wake up one morning to find that access to their digital money has been shut off. There will be no cash back-up, either, because cash will have been phased out of existence.

By the year 2030, the World Economic Forum envisions there will be no more private property in the hands of we little people. We will “own nothing,” we will have no privacy and yet, somehow, we will be happy, they say.

Schwab introduced these concepts in his book, COVID 19: The Great Reset, which was released within six months of Covid’s appearance in China.

The system involves every individual and every nation, whether they like it or not.

Take a look at the amusing 2-minute video from the Netherlands, where that country’s puppet prime minister was recently called on the carpet for his allegiance to the World Economic Forum plan for the world.

The planned new world order does not stop with economic restructuring.

Just as they must decouple middle-class people from their property, using punitive taxation and environmental regulations, they must also decouple families from the traditional values that were handed down to them and originated from the traditional Christian faith—things like the desire to marry and have a family, to put in an honest day’s work and to honor one’s parents and grandparents. They’ve been active on this front for decades, but the fig tree is getting ripe, to the point where little boys and girls in elementary school are being taught to question their God-given gender.

Those parents who balk and confront their school boards are labeled backwoods bigots and potential terrorists by their own government.

What these parents are learning is that in the world of the Great Reset, only one voice is allowed to share the stage—that controlled by the ruling elites—and everyone else must be willing to participate in their carefully constructed echo chamber or just shut up. Any dissenting voices are brutally and efficiently silenced.

The Great Reset isn’t even here yet but we can already see a foreshadowing of the way this new global beast system works. There’s no tolerance for free speech.

Dr. Robert Malone, who invented the technology upon which mRNA vaccines are based, gets interviewed by podcaster Joe Rogan and uses that platform to send a warning to the world about the dangers of these deadly shots. And what happens? Malone gets canceled from all social media and a group of nearly 300 doctors sends an open letter to Spotify, urging Spotify to pull the plug on Rogan’s podcasts, claiming Rogan is spreading “anti-vax misinformation.”

Joe Biden, with his 33 percent approval rating, gets on TV this week and makes a special appeal to the Big Tech social media companies to clamp down on “misinformation” about vaccines, and what happens? Within hours we read that Direct TV has canceled One America News [OAN] from its channel lineup.
